I agree with you, I definitely think they will close Gotham City for this event.

According to Jim Reid-Anderson, Six Flags America will be hosting their first ever Holiday in the Park event in 2016! I wonder which coasters will be open during this event, I am almost certain Apocalypse will.

From what I am hearing, it is just new shaded break areas that OSHA requires.

There's a few spots that could do with a bit of retracking. The turn after the first hill needs it. The final turn around needs some retracking and a reprofile, it's way too underbanked, you can hear/feel the train smashing against the track trying to make the turn. While it provides some good laterals, it's jerky and to me is just painful. Does anybody know if they've started to paint at all? I've been driving past the park nearly every day and Thunderhawk still looks the same to me (At least from Lincoln Ave and Hamilton) No, they haven't started painting it yet.

PTC has made a lot of progress on Thunderhawk's new trains. These trains are starting to grow on me, besides the lap bars.

I don't think anyone has said what the five flat rides are going to be, but the Charlotte Observer has announced them. They will be a Top Scan, a Troika (A clone of Bad Apple at Kings Dominion), a Break Dance (always fan favorites), a Wave Swinger that will most likely replace the Chance Yo-Yo, and a Music Express.

Considering how expensive a single ride on Thunderbolt and The Coney Island Cyclone are, who wouldn't get that! This deal finally makes the park reasonable and actually cheap. This is a great addition to the park!
