Do you work at kings dominion?

So since 4th of july has passed, was it confirmed that huge land clearing was just for fireworks?

Just curious, how would you guys compare KD to other cedar fair parks? IMO, I think if they fix up a few things, it'll be up there with their top 4 parks (Canada Wonderland, Cedar point, Kings Island, and carowinds)

Haven't been to KD in a while. Heard there's some type of land clearing for fireworks? Anyone been to the park recently and saw it themselves? Also land clearing for fireworks sounds kinda odd to me isn't it kinda dangerous to put it very close to a roller coaster?

Valleyfair being your homepark isn't a very good reasoning of why it's " supposedly " on the next coaster list. CW is the only debatable one though. I'm absoultely certain that was a knock on KD fans. Joke => your head ==> joke goes over Hm, no wonder why I didn't get it.

I do agree that Wild Eagle is a really enjoyable and re-ridable coaster. Gatekeeper, on the other hand, is less impressive. See, they can be very enjoyable coasters. I'm sure if KD were to receive one, it would easily be in the top 3 ridden rides at the park. It would be the most ridden ride at the park, unless it had shorter trains like Thunderbird. Count me in with the crowd that thinks GateKeeper is at least very good. I love the throughput, the location, the keyholes, and that first drop is amazing. Not my first choice of coaster for any Cedar Fair park, because I want them to add variety, and I don't want Wing Riders to be the new invert (while good, they blended together during my mega-Cedar Fair trip) Edit - I think Valleyfair and Canada's Wonderland are next on the coaster list. I don't understand, you're the one who keeps bringing up unfounded speculation about a number of new coasters, and then you make an outburst for everyone to be quite about it? I just.... I don't even know. Anyways, as long as the ride cycle isn't as short as CW's cyclone, we should have a decent ride time. my point exactly!!!

You can get a better look on it when on Avalanche's lift hill. Yeah that's what i was talking about every time i ride avalanche i try to get a look inside there but i can't.

No Tee1999, it's not going to be used for a TrioTech dark ride. Dual loading station possibly? (PLEEEAASSSE!!!!!) No madmax, i wasn't implying or speculating a new ride like you do on a daily basis. It doesn't even look like a triotech would even fit there. Please don't put words in my mouth.

Does anyone what that unused station at volcano is used for? It's gotten me a bit curious

If CF used more land for the project there may have been enough room for an overbank. Thus fixing all the first turn issues. Oh gosh if there was an overbank right after the first drop all of the cp fanboys would be saying that I305 was a rip off of MF... By that logic then intimidator is a ripoff of maverick because of the color scheme and the twists and turns... Smh enthusiasts

I find that weird cause CW got leviathan and I'm pretty sure that was at least 25 million and on top of that they got a triotech and they're getting 2 awesome flats for 2016... I just find it odd that the other big parks are getting so much. I'm not complaining though.

Honest question, do you guys really think 2017 or 2018 is the year we get a new coaster?

If hurler got rmc'd i would like the name to rather be iron hurler... it would have about 10 inversions and would live to its "hurler" name of course all of this is highly unlikely though

Just came back from Kd, the park wasn't really that busy but it was still a little crowded by the volcano. Man I have a massive headache from rebel yell and hurler. I guess retracking won't save them

Preach it man, tell them that! Tbh the Gp is stupid in general and don't know how industry works.

A front gate coaster wouldn't look right because dominator will be next to it. the area would look like a total mess.
