  1. Just got mine finished. Bought the Pro version since I knew I'd want to mess around with motionblur and video. It's pretty cool so far. So many different things to dig into. Definitely worth the asking price. Colossus with DOF Details with DOF Narrow field of view with DOF on.
  2. I tried the demo as my full game hasn't finished downloading and it runs great. I have everything maxed out. I'm running a custom desktop PC. Core i7 2600K (Quad 3.4GHz) 16GB Ram SSD + HDD main drive (Intel Smart Cache) EVGA Overclocked Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 4GB
  3. I have to say that this event was amazing! This was probably one of the best times I've had in a theme park in a long time. The backstage tour and Medusa ERT were both a blast. Thank you so much to all of the park employees and management for making this such a great event. The night time ERT was awesome. Thanks to Robb for spending so much time and effort putting this together for us. As a side note, the Tony Hawk Challenge (I think that's what they called it) was a brilliant idea and should definitly become a tradition for TPR at Discovery Kingdom. I cannot say enough about how great today was at the park. Thank you again to everyone who helped make this event such an amazing day.
  4. Exactly. I love showing off stuff like this to other people. Giving it exposure is half the fun!
  5. First off, I didn't steal, I made it in Apple Motion. It took about three minutes with key-framing. So yes, I did get permission... I like Disney, so promo video is fine with me. Secondly, my main point of the trip was not to film a blockbuster theme park video. It was to have fun and I submitted it for the same reason, just for fun. I imagine a lot of the entries are the same way. It's just highlights of a fun trip, that's all. Wow, I didn't know this was so intense. I'll have to put more thought into my video next year... Oh well, It was still fun.
  6. Ok. I was gonna say, iMovie that comes on the Mac is pretty capable. Then there is also Final Cut Express that does a very good job. Of course, this info only matters if you do end up getting a Mac. I used to use Premiere on the PC but had way too many issues with it. Now I use Final Cut Studio 2 for everything.
  7. I know this thread is old, but I just recently went to the DLR and had no problem. I was a little concerned because of the size of my camera. Video work is a hobby and side profession of mine. I shoot with a Canon XH-A1. I emailed a Disney PR rep and they said I should have no problem, however, it was at the discretion of the ride op. I had no problems at all aside from the looks I got from passerby's. I even took it on California Screamin' with no problems. Kind of a large camera, but well worth the incredible video quality.
  8. Do you have a Mac or PC? I saw you have a PC laptop, but your avatar suggests that you might have a Mac as well.
