  1. As a Valleyfair fan and Someone that lives in MN, I have ridden our Hyper, Wild Thing so many times that it is crazy. I would say, an inverted or suspended coaster is more impressive, and it looks like VF is going to get an awesome B&M Invert within the next two years. The problem is that Michigans Adventure looks like a poor mans Valleyfair in 2007, before Renegade. VF has become such a better park since it has taken out stuff like Mini Golf, The Flume, and done some serious revamping. Michigans Adventure needs the following things: -Planet/Camp Snoopy -Drop Tower -More Dining -Halloween Haunt -New Roller Coaster -More
  2. 2016 Larson Flyers. Water Park Expansion. New Thrill Ride. That's it for 2016 my prediction. Are you kidding? No way CF will give us 3 things! I think 2 would be the max.
  3. Beginning of Magnum is much better but at the end Wild Thing is better.
  4. New food stand by Wild Thing: Pretty Interesting, Oreo Churro.
  5. Most times Renegade runs 2 trains, even on weekdays. Very rarely does Power Tower run all 3 towers, which Is surprising.
  6. A flume ride is certainly on VFs list of things to get in the future, which include... -BMI Invert Coaster -BMI Wing Coaster -Dark Ride -Skykeeper Ride -Fluke Ride -Flying Scooters Ride -Soak City Slide Complex - Mat Racers - Funnel Slide - Individual Tube Slide -Johnny Rockets:!
  7. That is a possibility. The arcade looked like one of the better places to have a haunt building, so I'm wondering if there will be any change in the future.
  8. Of all the Soak City attractions, the one I could see being removed is the Old Splash Station. The problem is that it takes up such a small area, that unless something drastic happened, it's staying right there. Also, CF has been putting in "Cedar Creek Flyer" rides at most of its parks within the last few years, with the one at kings Island being in Planet Snoopy, (although the Kings Island at Planet Snoopy has a Pipe Scream (Northern Lights), a flume ride, and a children's invert coaster). Do you guys see VF getting one of these? If they did, I could see it in Tilter's former location on the Wild Thing grass. Of all the rides at VF to be closed due to technical issues, RipTide is closed the most. Does this mean anything for the future?
  9. Raging Rapids has been in operation this year. It was closed today.
  10. Valleyfair doesn't own Jurassic Park rights, and they can't really even mention anything regarding it.
  11. Having a roller coaster pushed out even further than 2017 is ridiculous. There has been some talk about Michigans Adventure being the next park to get a coaster (essentially ahead of us). I think this is nonsense. I believe that Michigans Adventure is going to be sold sometime in the near future, because CF has not spent any money on the place (Thunderhawk is a 18 year old used invert). One possible idea for Michigans Adventure would be to take our Excalibur and make it stand up, even though that would never happen. Michigans Adventure has also not put in a Planet/Camp Snoopy and Dinosaurs Alive like many other parks have. I think they realize that when they sell the park they would just have to take out that stuff or un-license it. I think they will leave it up for the new owners for a new coaster. With that being said, I think VF will get.... 2016: Additional Parking Lot, B&M Invert in the Front as GateKeeper (Too risky in back with floods) 2017: Cedar Creek Flyers ride in Wild Thing Grass, Tube Slide Tower in SoakCity 2018: New Dining Options, Shows 2019: Dinosaurs Removed (We have to have them until end of 2018.) New Dark Ride 2020: New Carousel or New Flume
  12. If Valleyfair were to get a B&M Invert, would it be a clone of Patriot at WOF? Maybe Batman the Ride?
  13. I think one thing that Valleyfair could do to make a ton of money would be to institute a 1-time Fast Lane pass for something like $4.99 per person per ride. This has been instituted at some international parks and it has worked very well, especially on main attractions. If Valleyfair were to get a new invert, this would be great. Also, I have never been on a Boomerang coaster, but they look pretty good. Can someone that has been on a Boomerang reply to this?
  14. I've been kind of surprised by the speed of Mad Mouse's lines this year. Other than a couple of occasions, they have been pretty low.
  15. Speaking of the length of lines at Valleyfair, these are the worst in my opinion (ranked in order). 1. Renegade 2. High Roller 3. Power Tower 4. Steel Venom 5. Thunder Canyon - On Some Days Wild Thing normally runs pretty fast.
  16. While I highly want a new coaster, I do not think Valleyfair will get one in 2016. I think that 2016 will be spent leveling the area, and working on making a great new place for our 2017 B&M Invert. I think that for the next 2 coasters that go (Excalibur and High Roller). I think that we will get a B&am Invert in 2017, and some other kind of roller coaster for High Roller. I think that a coaster similar to "Boomerang" at lots of Six Flags parks would do well. Remember, since High Roller is in Planet Snoopy, a more childish coaster should be there. For 2016, I think Valleyfair will get a Cedar Creek Flyers ride, like Dorney Park got this year, and many other CF parks are getting. I think that it will go in the lawn by Wild Thing. Another point to mention is that Valleyfair will eventually get a virtual shooting ride, like at Knotts and Canada's Wonderland. That would be a huge addition to Valleyfair, something potentially as big as a roller coaster.
