After the outstanding visit at Liseberg we left Sweden behind and took a ferry to Frederikshavn in Denmark. We took a travel day and planned some culture in for some rest moments. The first stop was Skagen. A little bit off route but worth the half hour extra driving. We spend some time walking barefoot at the point that two seas come together. Some remains of the Atlantic Wall was still noticeable and some old bunkers with the text edited “Zimmer Frei” (Room vacant). We headed on to a small place called Aars for a night sleep to be in the neighbourhood of the next park to visit. The 3rd park of the trip will be Farup Sommerland at Blokhus. Farup was among one of the three parks that gave positive feedback on the e-mail Rene and Jeroen had send weeks before. Next morning we were told to be around 8 o’clock at the park entrance and we would be picked up by somebody and they would see what they could do for us. So there we go. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Here our visit in moving pictures. Here below we go one with the full trip report. At the parking lot it was very quiet. A couple of yards away an employee was changing the trash bins and she noticed our presence. She walk over to the ca rand asked us “are you the Coaster Heroes from the Netherlands?” We couldn’t deny. She contacted someone with her porto and instruct us to drive all the way to the front of the entrance of the park. There would be her manager to welcome us. Indeed there was the manager. We were direct positioned in front of the park entrance for a picture “For the office” he assured us. Unfortunately he didn’t bring a memory card with it so a fast sprint had to be taken back to office to get the picture done. We walked some short time as we were placed down at a coffee stall that he declared open. We got a nice cup of thee or coffee and the manager turn to us “Hey guys, the park director would like to meet with you guys. He will be here in about 10 minutes. Is it possible to wait?” A ehmm well… We have coffee so… Yes I guess. After approx. 10 minutes a man came in our direction and introduced himself as Soren. The park Director. A very passionated man that loved his park so became clear very soon. He took us straight to the new marble of Farup, the Family Hotel they just opened so I understood. There are plans to extend the hotel with some cottages village and a camping. He opened one of the hotel rooms and insisted us to have a look around. BBQ cottage for the guests of the hotel. With some pride Soren took us up next to the waterpark. They would open it next week and introduced a double loop waterslide for this coming season. We went up the tower and Soren explained every aspect of the new slide and especially why you should cross your legs while going down. Nice collection of waterslides available here. At this time the park would open for the guest from the hotel and we were escorted to Orkanen. The Family Vekoma coaster. We entered via the exit side and Soren asked us to take place for a ride. After the first ride we were free to keep seated but with a couple of kids waiting in the station we decided to make room for them and went on with Soren to Falken. Farup’s wooden coaster. This one had enough empty seats to fill up for some nice rides session. Soren had to go on with his schedule and left us with a nice coupon for a dinner at their restaurant and let us make a promise. We would like that we would drop by at the guest service office before we would leave. He would like to have our impressions after our day in his park. We had a deal we told him and he went on. We got our self reseated at Falken to take some more rides before the big crowd enters the park. Falken is a “one of it’s kind” coaster. This woody is build by 2 manufactures. The first went bankrupt. Farup decided to finish the job themselves. That’s noticeable… Halfway the layout they took it over and you can see and feel the exact point during the ride. It’s a sort of RCT1 old fashion S-turn without the banking on the bottom of a camelback. Flagermussen (Reverchon) The kids needed to spill some energy It is nice and need. That is clear here at Farup Orkanen Nice Family Coaster of Vekoma with some bite. Good atmosphere here at Farup. Lynet! A Gerslauer launch coaster with 2 inversions. After our visit we stopped by at the Guest Service office and meet up again with Soren. He would like to know how the park looks from visitors eye. Well the park is nice, clean, people are having a BBQ on the picnic fields. The park has everything. A waterpark, theme park and relax park Enough rides for small kids. You have a nice coaster collection with 6 operational. “So” He asked. “ If we are able to put down a new ride. What would you advise?” Ok a little overwhelmed we came to the conclusion that a HUSS or KMG ride like a Afterburner or Top Spin could fill the gap between the kiddie rides and the coasters. It would finish it off for the couple of seasons to come. Soren tol dus he had spoken with the manager of Djurs Sommerland and that he knew that we would visit them tomorrow. Nielsen has something up for you. You will have a great day tomorrow at Djurs. We said goodbye and Soren went for a meeting. We went back to the car with a feeling of unbelive and thrilled the same time. What a welcome! What a day! Shit!! We forgot to give Soren the Dutch “Stroopwafels” as a gift!!!!!

After a nice day of traveling an a visit to Tolk Schau we arrived at Gothenborg, Sweden after a nice night of sleep on the sea. We took our cars from the ferry and went on to find our apartment in Gothenborg. That was beyond expectations large and modern. We are about 10 minutes’ walk away from Liseberg park or the city centre in the other direction. After we have done some shopping we decided to check out the route to the park and find some nice restaurant to have some dinner that evening. When we stopped for a drink Rene and Jeroen start to act a little bit strange. They knew something the rest of the group did not know yet and the tension to keep it a secret weighted to heavy on them so the big word came out. Rene and Jeroen had been so free to contact some parks before we took of for the trip. And that was not unsuccessfully. Three parks gave a reaction in return and Liseberg was one of them. They let us behind a message to come to the parks main entrance by the end of the morning. There someone will meet us to see if they can show us some things behind the scenes. So next day we made sure we would be in time at the park main entrance. For the video of the Technical tour, please click below. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] For a short park impression, please click below. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] And here we move on with the big photo trip report Some funny road signs around here. Swimming pool on height. The Entrance. And there we are. Waiting at the main entrance hoping someone showed up as was told. After a short time of waiting 2 gentlemen came up to us and introduced them self as Pontus and Jonas. After a short round of introducing the took us up to the hill where Helix and Liseberg Banan are located. Then Jonas asked us “well where would you like to start?” Well if we can choose than Helix please. Via the operator room of Helix we are taken in tot he station. Jonas and Pontus explains every button on the operators desk, where the safety measures kicks in and when. “Ow do you want to see the maintenance downstairs? Follow me.” Oke now I thought is a good moment to ask if it is oke if I use the camera and make some pictures. “No problem at all” was the answer in return. Also the sharing on social media was no problem with them. Always nice to have that straighten out on a tour like this. We have used our eyes well and where overwhelmed by the kindness and the will of Pontus and Jonas to explain and answer everything so openly that we forgot here to ask some questions. Now it was time to move on to the coaster next door. Liseberg Banan. An old fashion Schwarzkopf coaster. And that was noticeable. A little bit out of contrast with the hyper modern setting we stood in 5 minutes ago at Helix. But as for the computer freak a working Commodore 64 is heaven on earth, counts here the same for a coaster fanatic. After watching our eyes out we were pulled further in to the park. Next stop was Kanonen. A Intamin launch coaster. Nice thing to know is that the operator has to guess the weight of the people in the train to decide is the train needs a less or faster launch to prevent a rollback. And since we had another 45 minutes left until opening park we were able to check out also the Wooden Intamin coaster “Balder” for a grand tour. Now the park will open in a few minutes Pontus and Jonas had to resume to there normal work and we thanked them for there hospitality and time and handed over a can of typical Dutch “Stroopwafels” as a present for them. At the service desk we were handed out a wristband for free entrance and unlimited rides. How nice is that!!! Below you find the normal “in front of the scene” pictures of the two days we stayed in this wonderful city park of Liseberg. So far for day 3 and 4 of the trip. Day 5 will be a travel day by Ferry to Frederikshavn Denmark to pick up the next park day on day 6 at Farup Sommerland.

Thanks mwoods244, Time is the most biggest enemy at the moment and the work I have to do on the new area of the park is enormous. For the moment I can show the first part of the Rollin River is sort of finished. Animatronics will be added to front of the tunnel and the small things as crates and barrels need to be put in place still. Oke here you see the bandit on the left on the rope bridge tower firing a shot. The fool hits the water tower and indirectly effect the passengers in the raft. I added a Saloon. View from tunnel entry side back to station. At the right side of the tunnel entrance I added the ACME store what will make the village at this side of the Rollin River complete. So that's about it for this week. Thanks for your time.

In May 2016 a close group of friends decided to bundle their knowledge and organized a 7 days trip to the best parks in Sweden and Denmark. This group calls their selves “the Coaster Heroes” and this is the first day of this trip. On May the 22nd we left the Rotterdam area at night to catch up with the ferry from Kiel to Gothenburg. The make this 8 hours drive a little more comfortable we planned a break in the north of Germany at a small park called “Tolk Schau”. I have been here once before in my life in summer 2011 so I knew what to expect here. “Tolk Schau” is a large park with less attractions. Almost everything is out of the Heege catalogue and is seems to be some kind of the big sponsor of this park. If you like to test your operator skills, this is the place to be! Welcome to Tolk Schau! Here you find the short video of the first trip day. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] And here the Trip Review in writing and pictures As I said. A lot of Heege here. For some kind of reason this kind of rides are cedits at the forum I keep my coaster count up to date. As one of the Butterflies attractions was not operating it screwed my coaster bingo last visit so it was time to streight that up. Red en Raiser are testing the “rock the boat” ride that was operating by keep pulling a rope to keep the engine working. Coaster Iris is testing the cable run My utmost concentration for the instructions given by Coasterdriver This farmer truck ride was also unstaffed (Staff was hard to find in the park anyway) No idea what it was. It had a cabine and it could drive so Coasterdriver had to test it as the only professional Touring couch-driver of the group. Oke. This goes far back from somewhere at a UK trip in 2007. Just throw in some softballs an things start to get ugly. Add some air pressured cannons to it and pure chaos will break out. The decorating is of high standards here. Unbelievable realistic animatronic… The park is a really green environment. Feeding some animals. And back to the playground area to check out the only rollercoaster at this little park. After having done a couple of round in the Wiegand Bobsled ride it was time to settle down for some famous “Curry sausage” Leaving our backpacks fooling around at the playground. Here you find some random pictures of the park that is very nice to visit if you have small toddlers or in good company. For now it’s back to the cars and up to Kiel to catch the ferry to Gothenburg. Finally we made it to Kiel. After a night and day of driving and walking and driving again we started to feel our legs so a nice bed on the open Sea was more than welcome. Sweetness herself A good night and see you all for day 2 at Gothenburg Sweden.

Thanks Thrillseeker4552 The holidays are over so I spend more time building last days and can now reveal the first part of the "rolling River" site. This ride starts from the station building right in to a small western village street. First you will pass the "Jail"and "Sheriff"station where an explosion will occur near the "jail" what will release the bandits kept held in capture in there. Then the bandits needed some money to survive and keep on foot. The rest of the story is to made up still, but the first start is made to this new part of the park. Now I leave you with the best pictures I have shot of this new part of the park. Thanks again for your time and attention. Any comment will be appreciated

Hi there all. Here a photo update of the "Walk on the wild side" Themepark. First I started with a Rapid River. I extended the railroad and relocated the station for the Old West area. Added some prehistoric scalleton. Now known the route of the River Rapid we add a big Coaster over it. The coaster will be called "Predator". It is a multi inversion T-rex track RMC Coaster. The first shops are added to the new area. The Rapid River has a station building More shops will fill the village. Total view of the new themed area (still work in progress) So this is the status at this very moment. Hope to have some time to work on the project around the holidays and bring some more updates soon. Thanks for your time and any feedback is welcome.

Hi there, I have been working on a promo clip for the park and want to share the result. I made this clip to give a view of the work done so far and to give a glimp of the future rides that I working on at the moment. The rapid river ride and the T-rex tracked coaster named Predator. Enjoy your visit [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]

Update number 4: After working on the landscaping around the coasters it's time to arrange some transportation trough the park. I finished of the 1st quarter of the railway "Iron Horse". I did shoot a short clip to give you all an idea and a different view of the Redstone area. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Now it is time to think of the less brave or just smaller souls in the park. There has to be a kiddie coaster to recommend all ages in the park. I can try to make a big story out of it but, it is still a kiddie. So I designed a small but fast kiddie coaster named "Dragon Fury". It is themed as a dragon hole and some special effects. Here you find the onride: [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] And here you can scroll down some pictures Thanks for your attention!

Hi there, Besides my "Walk on the wild side" themepark project, did I had some time to design a RMC T-rex coaster named "Obelix". It contains 3 inversions and has a highspeed lay out. It is my 4th coaster design in Planet Coaster. Enjoy the ride [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Some pictures: Thanks for your attention. Any feedback will be welcome

Hi there all. It is time for update number 3. The "Walk on the wild side" Theme park announces a brand new ride for the new season. It presents "Iron Stomach" It is the 3 coaster of the park. A Geslauer model Eurofighter. Layout for this coaster is by myself. It contain the typical over 90 degrees drop element and 5 inversions in a fast ride. I kept out any midcourse brakes to keep the speed in the ride. It's the first coaster outside of the Redstone area of the park and is located in rough rocky green middle of the park. Please find the short video of the ride below. [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] The specs: Some pictures of the new marble of the park. Thanks again for you're time! More will come soon

Hi there! As you could see on the horizons of the park pictures and Wotws POV there is more than only the RMC coaster and flat rides allready shown. The second coaster of the park is the GCI type in Planet Coaster. One of the 2 Wooden coasters available. It has no typical GCI layout or trademarks except for the track type and train. This is also an own designed layout. No inversions for this coaster. It's located also in the Redstone Mountian area of the park. Here the POV and pictures of the 2nd coaster called "Boulderdash" Enjoy the ride!!! [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Area view of Wotws and Boulderdash New flatride added to Boulderdash is the Topspin "Overload" A shops building across the street of "Overload" Bouderdash Boulderdash Water effect on the Boulderdash coaster The Station Bird eye view Thanks for your time. any feedback will be appreciated

Hi there, About 4 months ago I bought our self a new PC with one reason in mind. The ability to play and start building in Planet Coaster. And so I started with this first attempt that now is far enough to show the world. It is still work in progress so there are empty eras that will be filled project by project. The park is called "Walk on the wild side" and it will contain mostly rides, coasters and landscape. To build theming is a step to far at this point. I'm struggling with the controls still at the moment. The first attempts to build coaster station buildings is promising but not the wow effect yet. So let's go with the flow. Here some pictures of the park at this point of history. The Swing mill to entertain the kids. Yes, there is a Merry go round. A Balloon ride. Octopus by night The Circus Loop The spectacular "Cube" A overview of the flat ride section of the park The first coaster operational at the park was the "Walk on the Wild side" coaster. It's an own design and I used the freedom to not copy in the specific elements of a RMC coaster. It only has the looks. The Coaster touches very high vertical and lateral G's (from 6.5 to 3.5) Negative is a nice 1.12 Unless that the ride is popular beyond my expectations. "Walk on the wild side" contains 3 inversions wich I have 2 inversions I don't can categorize to be honest. Anyway pictures say more so here they come. "Walk on the wild side" coaster The station The brake-run Redstone mountains and waterfalls More Redstone mountains and Waterfalls To finish off here a pov of the coaster with the blueprint link you can find in the comment [youtu_be] [/youtu_be] Thanks for your attention and your feedback will be appreciated

Hi there all. I have now working with Planet Coaster and I think its time to put some creations on the forum. First the "White Knuckles" coaster. It's a B&M Inverted with 5 inversions and a compact layout of only 800 meters. It's located on a mountain island with lots of waterfals and small creeks. Enjoy the ride [youtu_be] [/youtu_be]

Hi Coaster community! Finally landed here on the forum. Read the TPR forum for a couple of years now so why not joining more actively. So I'm a father of 39 now, travling Europe in search for new rollercoasters and reunite with the all ready done ones. Dragging my son and girlfriend with me from theme park to themepark. (Can you just imagin the horror for the 7 year old boy) As a family we are full members of the Coaster Heroes group where we traveling trough Europe as a group of close coaster friends or join the events of the ECC. My local base park is Efteling but now the kid has reached the 1.30 on the metric scale more and more options become open. Anyway; beside of coastering and themeparking I like to play keyboards, build with RCT3 and Planet Coaster and work fulltime in the harbour of Rotterdam. Most of the time you will see me posting in the Games section for PC creations or posting photo/video reviews from the parks visited. To get an idea who I am and making part of, here a nice compilation of our adventures last year.
