^ They accept 14 for games, merch, food, and admissions. But admissions is my best bet (or so I am told.) -

^Oh, I'm pretty sure all Cedar Fair parks do, but laws do vary depending on the state. I have lots of 14 year old friends that I've seen on the job at Valley Fair and have even been emailing back and forth with a manager(I think) and he has been very helpful with providing me with loads of information. I think I'll love working there and I do sure hope it works out. -

I think I will be applying this weekend and thank you all who have been giving some tips! I do realize not to lead with the fact with being a coaster enthusiast... and the only reason I wouldnt be able to work there if I was hired is because of transportation. I would be applying for admissions which has very flexible hours apparently, I do know some people that may work there that could give me a ride but if not that I would have to find someone else to carpool with. Hopefully I can apply, be hired, and start working this summer! Anybody else work in admissions? -

I realize that route 76 and the waterpark expansions were good expansions, but carowinds just recieved a giga and now they are getting a waterpark EXPANSION the size of our waterpark! And route 76 was just relocating a few rides and bringing I think 1 more in, and they did get a huge pavilion, wonder why they would need it, probably because they were expecting a huge attendance boost when they got a few slides. -

The same restraint problem happened to me on the space shot a couple years back, I'm 13 fairly skinny and extremely short, I've never hung on that ride but that time I did, the guy said it was the "fun seat" except it was up more than 4 to 5 inches. I thought I was going to die -

Well, carowinds is getting a MAJOR waterpark expansion, could be its own waterpark imo, and valleyfair I think might have an off season, it makes me so upset because valleyfair is my homepark and it rarely gets a big addition -

That's exactly what Mild Thing was for. I'm still pissed that they removed that coaster. It was my first coaster. Mine was the rock bottom plunge, well other than the carnival dragon little coaster but that doesn't even count tbh, then after the rock bottom plunge, my first was renegade, LOL! -

In 1988, nothing major happened, they were really just saving up for some new rides. Those rides, turned out to be a complete success! 1989 brought some modern changes to the park! First off, the park received a new go kart track. Very modern and new and popular! Along side that particular go kart track is a brand new 'Round Up' model named Tornado! Riders on Tornado will undergo a twisting and turning sensation, then be lifted into the air at 50 degrees! That sure is steep! They will continue to twist and turn while they are being pinned to their seats by centrifugal force! The go karts go around and around the winding track until one claims victory as the first place winner on SpeedWay 500! And lastly for the 1989 additions is a Vekoma Boomerang model! The seventh of it's kind in the U.S! Although there are many clones this ride will satisfy thrill seekers and park goers. Riders riding Forest Flip will be lifted backwards out of the station on a steep lift hill. They do not know when they will start the journey of Forest Flip. Anticipating that drop? Well enjoy the view while you can, because when it's over, you'll be sent through 6 inversions. Three forwards, three backwards at 50 mph! -

New for the 1987 season; Cardinal- an 85 foot tall Arrow Dynamics custom looper. It charges through 2 vertical loops and 3 corkscrews at a top speed of 50 mph! Cardinal's twisted layout. Also new for the 1987 season, a Larson SuperLoop titled Super Looper. It was a hit as soon as it opened! Riders undergo a thrilling looping ride. Super Looper, feautured here, rockets riders back and forth through a looping thrill ride. And the last update for the 1987 season, the ferris wheel got a repaint, it is now all white. The ferris wheel is now completely white. -

I understand you are eager and want to showcase your work. Just adhere to the rules before you run into trouble with the Theme Park Review moderators. I don't know how to crop the pictures down, and thank you so much for the advice! -
This time, I am doing a time line for real! I promise! The year is 1986. Stan Brighton has just married the woman of his dreams, Suzy Brighton. They share a dream. Their dream is to open an amusement park, and own it until the day they die. Stan has found a 213 acre plot of land to build on. Stan was very rich, so it was easily affordable. Their new amusement park will sit on this land. They plan to open the gates to *Brighton Point* with two roller coasters, 3 family rides, and 4 thrill rides. They also plan to add something new every year. Construction went by fairly quickly, only taking them 8 months in total. They didn't open with quite what they wanted, but it was a start. Amusement Park overview Some minor park adjustments were made, including switching some stalls and making the paths more efficient. If only they'd done this earlier in the season... On another note, I see a clearing in the grass appearing. Predictions, anyone? Hmm.. that's quite a big space. ~~~~~~~~~~ Boy am I excited to actually do this now. I have received suggestions and tips so now I know how to really do it. I apologize for my last failed attempts.

Soon after that year, the park was sued due to a accident on their signature ride, Cyclone. A beautiful classic woodie. The train derailed, and a thorough investigation was held. They didn't find anything, other than where the ride flew off. He didn't have enough money to pay off the lawsuit, and he was forced to sell many of his park's rides. The Cyclone was fixed up and received new trains. Cyclone's new trains in action. -
Hello! Mikxy here, I love RCT2 timeline's, so I decided I shall do my own. Please note: This is my first real attempt I am bad at RCT2 I will try to make an enjoyable experience however! Now, let's get started! It was 1984. Charles Langdon had visited many amusement parks, including King's Dominion, and Cedar Point. He had always been fascinated with roller coasters and thrills for the family. He wanted to build his own. Lucky for him, he inherited millions out of his father's business when he passed away. He decided to make his lifelong dream of owning a major amusement park come true. He found a very large plot of land, seen here. He had his heart set on this large plot of land. Construction started after 2 months of joyfull planning. He had planned to open with 4 shops, a maze, and 9 rides, but unknown complications had limited to 6 rides. Construction lasted 8 months, but it paid off. Langdon Lake successfully opened with 6 flat rides, one roller coaster, a maze, and 4 shops.

I was at the park yesterday with a friend, I almost managed to slip out of the pirate ship (forgive me I forgot the name). I also tried out the new slides. The blue ones really hurt my butt. And we got a reride on Excalibur. That was cool. Here's the list of rides we hit up and any notes. Corkscrew broke down when we got there, but they managed to fix it within 15 minutes of it breaking. We didn't ride though. Wild thing didn't seem as rattily as usual. Same goes for steel venom. On renegade, my friend was flying all over the place, side to side, I don't know how. Excalibur was pulling some massive g's. I kind of greyed out at the start of the figure eight. On Power Tower, the tower that stops at 3/4, didn't seem to stop when we were on it. Overall, it was a good time. -

If Michigan's adventure was on the chopping block and closed down. They would use their rides at other parks. Could ValleyFair see MA's slc at their park someday? I wonder if this is a dumb question... I hope not -
