Doug did say that Predator was supposed to have two trains in 2015 but it never came to pass.

It was used as recently as 2015. Its functional and usable, but they dont use it for whatever reason. Its the only coaster in the park with two functional trains. (It sits under the station) ROS on the other hand got a brand new train last year and does not have a backup readily available.

Regardless, Viper has two trains already (second one just isnt utilized), ROS doesnt.

Yeah... nothing. My guess is nothing. They're getting rumors of new trains for the Arrow and Ride of Steel that never come to fruition. Viper's trains were recently refurbished, so I dont know where you hear that rumor.

I thought it was interesting that they aren't opening on Mother's Day this year.

The water park is also drained out and the flat rides gondolas are spread throughout That would appear to be the case as the Giant Wheel is stripped, but ROS train is still on the transfer track. But my last sentence still stands.

Also, the Town of Darien Planning Board has a meeting scheduled for Thursday, and no Darien Lake item is on the agenda.

Satellite view on Google maps are not real time images. Anything blue and white at Darien Lake is more than likely related to the PAC.

I doubt theyve been moved, but I live close enough that i'll check one of these days. Theres no way anyone would be able to tell theyre by the go karts though with the lay of the land being what it is.

With Premier staying and providing capital for rides theres no reason why there cant be an addition. If the owner had ditched Premier than id say status quo wouldve been more likely.

I was under the impression that the sale was done. Also, Premier remaining as operator and now having control of upgrades should make that a moot point as well.

In the past, the town planning board usually meets in January for a hearing on any new additions.

They shift a lot around and retire trailers. Theyre probably converting old rental trailer sites especially since a lot of them are heading on 15 years old. My guess is theyll be converting one or both of the pink rows here since the green is the current pull thrus

I like the straight stretch. Being over the water, fast and straight on to the last hill, it makes it feel like youre going to launch right off that last hill.
