No, I didn't mean over edit them. I just meant retouch the photos to how they would look as you see the object in real life. You can even make them a little more vibrant then they would normally be, just don't make it too noticeable. I hate when people say that post processing photos is wrong. Anytime you adjust the settings on your camera(White balance, color temperature, ISO, ect) you are changing the look and realism of the photo. How is that any different than PS? For example, your Alton Tower's Air pictures. I know it's a drab day, but the pictures don't exactly have to be drab and washed out. A little PS would go a long way. Those pictures have good potential.

[quote name="TatsuTerror" I believe' date=' has some of the highest of quality coaster photographs you'll find anywhere. Thanks, Daniel[/quote] While you do have some good shots, I think a lot of what you have is pretty average for a decent photo TR. What I mean is you don't have many interesting angles and some of the photos seem to be lacking. Also, the colors in some of the photos seem kind of bland, maybe you could retouch them a little in PS? That would make them jump out a little more.

No limits Boardwalk Bullet
jmccalip replied to jmccalip's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness
Yeah, I know. I would like to create the whole thing with AHG, but I don't have the time. Do you have a download file for yours? -
http://www.freewebs.com/stampeder1/TEXASG%20GG%20jmccalip11.nltrack This is my modification of the original file that someone else made(forgot who). The ride uses improved friction. Anyways, a lot of stuff had to be changed since nobody quite knew what the BB was going to look like. I went through every foot of track and I think it's somewhat accurate to the real thing. I know it's 119ft tall in the game, but that is the only way I could get the speed correct without making the transitions too small. Also, I was having trouble with the ASG and that made the supports turn out kind of messed up. Any constructive criticism would be fine. Enjoy One more thing, the magnetic brakes at the end are not catching, so I had to run only one train.

400th trip on Boardwalk Bullet
jmccalip replied to texcoaster's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
On the Voyage picture, that was intentional. It was a reversed bank curve leading into a 90 degree turn. It turned out the way it did because it's heart lined, that's why it looks weird. And the bullet picture... There is no problem there, I don't understand what your point is. The transition is taken at a slow speed and it is still smooth. Try watching the POV video of it, or better yet ride it for yourself before you make judgments. -
Closing Down A Theme Park
jmccalip replied to astroworldfan1's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Yeah, try telling that to the people of Houston. Sure we didn't have the best rides, but it was still fun. It's all we had/have. Kemah is not a theme park, and it is not a replacement. Sure it has one decent ride, but that's it. There are no memories and there is nothing special about it. -

Now I wished they didn't update it. We should have saved some pictures. -

I tired it and it works for me. I think it doesn't like you. -

Maybe they're worried about a terrorist planning an attack through Google Earth on their park. It's probably just a glitch. -
Exactly, if I want my picture taken I would just give the camera to whoever I'm going with and tell them to get a picture of me on the ride. (I could just crop the full size picture if I wanted)

First of all, I don't think of us Texans really care about the colors. It's a good coaster and that's all that matters. And just for the heck of it, what makes you think the colors don't go well with the name? It's all opinion and you're just used to seeing orange and teal used with the name "Goliath". If all Goliath's used blue and yellow, you would probably just complain if something new and different showed up. They are not the same. Great White is dark blue and black, Goliath is bright blue and yellow. They look a lot different. I don't see why everyone hates the coaster. Sure, maybe SFFT deserved something better, but it still needed a invert. Also, most people either choose SFFT or SW, not both. So say if some people liked Great White at SW the best, they have the same thing at SFFT. More business for SF.

Boardwalk Bullet - Photos & POV Video!
jmccalip replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I don't think the camera they use would be able to make that worthwhile. On another note, while the raw footage is nice, I think a separate music video of the whole park would be nice. The raw video just gets kind of monotonous after the first couple minutes. -
Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread
jmccalip replied to BDG's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It is possible that they decided to change the angle before they started building, but they didn't want to change it on the website? Maybe B&M thought it wouldn't be as comfortable with a 85 degree drop and they just wanted it to be more like a graceful B&M should. It's not like anyone is going to go out there with a protractor and measure it. -
Comprehensive Coaster Credit Conversation
jmccalip replied to Shockwave's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Credits aren't important at all, I don't count. I just like to try and ride everything except small/kiddie coasters. If the rides at X park didn't interest me, I would never go out of my way to get the "credits". -

Boardwalk Bullet - Photos & POV Video!
jmccalip replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
You're crazy. I found that part to be rather smooth. IMO It's just the bay turn and two jolts in the track(entrance and exit to almost 90degree turn) that are rough. -
Come be filmed on Kemah's Boardwalk Bullet!
jmccalip replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
So when are we getting this on ride footage? -
Come be filmed on Kemah's Boardwalk Bullet!
jmccalip replied to robbalvey's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Because of the sensation it provides. If you're not stapled into the ride you get a much better sensation of airtime, and you get even more if you lift your feet up also. Although, If you're in the front seat of the car(less leg room), it might be a good idea to put your hands back down on some of the turns. I tried holding my hands up the whole time and ended up with some bruises on my knees. Fun Though. -
