Or nearly For some reasons it is good, for example if there is nobody nearby and you want to do an aerial shoot with you on the pic. But at these places where many people are (for example: Theme Parks or Tourist Attractions), you can ask other people if they could do a photo of you and often it is way better than it would be with the selfie stick! And you shouldn't use it if the selfie-stick brings you or other people in danger!

In Christmas break I made a K'nex/Lego Drop tower, which is nearly 6ft tall! The tower is made out of K'nex and the track, vehicle and the drop releaser are made out of Lego. I use Rubber bands to break the vehicle down. To release the drop I use a remote, but I have to pull the vehicle up by hand.
