Well there has been rumors going on between he employs for a couple of years now that le Cobra is getting demolished for something BIG there and they think it's a coaster. Also la Maison rouge is not a permanent ride. It was built with the same exact structure of the building where the restaurants between la spirale and le Goliath where. -
Total Coaster Noob, need advice
Uriel Galindo replied to Coasternoob's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
When you refer to your stomach, is it your nerves, or because you get nauseous due to motion sickness? If it is your nerves; you will become more comfortable the more you ride, and if you ride different types. Eventually you will loose almost all your fears. Maybe he was talking about that feeling you get in your stomach while you have airtime. -

He didn't see it. In one of his post a guy replied to my comment saying that le Monstre wouldn't get the RMC treatment in 2016 and that guy said "You do realize there is a sign in front of le Monstre saying this beast is about to get meaner." That guy probably read that here in this thread so Taylor (Coaster Studios) probably read the comment that, that guy posted on my comment. -

They can't build a path that connects le Vampire to the Ferris Wheel because that's where they launch the fireworks and also theres a road there that connects the parking that leads to the main entrance to the one that leads to the entrance near le Goliath. -

Yeah but we don't know if it's going to be an RMC because it could also be a Premier rides launch coaster because six flags has been working a lot with those two companies but I would prefer to see an RMC there. Holy poo-poo that's pretty cool. That post sure looks cool, but from where does it comes? There's no source on it, and I'd be curious to know it's origin. I just found out that its a random guy that wrote that on Wikipedia as a joke. -

Honestly, an empty space is an upgrade. That's like 60-90 minutes of my life back if I ever return to La Ronde that would be spent waiting for that crap. Yeah but since 2012 La Ronde has gotten a lot better. There are more rides, the park is cleaner, the employees are not rude anymore and they're a bit faster than before. -

Right now they're waiting for a piece to fix something with le Cobra and it will reopen before June 24th. Also there's some rumors that started one or two years ago between the employees that le Cobra is going to be demolished to build a new coaster for 2017. There hasn't been any rumors of le Monstre getting the I-Box track in 2017 and the reason why the track #2 is closed is because they're retracking parts of the track with topper track also in 2013 they baught new PTC trains for the ride and they retracked it with topper track in 2012 or 2013 so they already spent a lot of money on that ride recently and if they do build an RMC coaster at La Ronde it'll more likely be where le Cobra is because that section of the park looks pretty abandoned, they haven't repainted ke Cobra since 2002, in 2008 they took out the Spongebob squarepants 3D ride and they closed that movie theatre last year also, in 2011 they took out la Tornade wich made that area look much more abandoned than before. -
Projects reschedule, there's still 3 projects for 2016, and none of them are Wildfire (or La Ronde) I heard A LOT that La Ronde will be in 2017 for the park's 50th anniversary and it will be a brand new topper track coaster like Goliath at six flags great america or outlaw run and it will be on le cobra's emplacement.

Yeah me too but I don't really think it will be on le Monstre. I think it will at le Cobra's place. -

I have yet to get a picture, I was there today but the poster has been moved/removed. Also: Le Cobra is officially CLOSED for the season, some supports have been removed and there is no longer any track in the station. ALSO: I was walking near "Le Spirale" today and I noticed some people in black shirts walking in the restricted area of the Monstre's wood, one of the people turned around and his shirt said RMC on it in white bold text. They were taking pictures of the wood and I walked behind one of them when they were leaving and I saw writing in French and I got to read SOME of it and it was measurements of "Steel Ledgers for iBox" and they had a LOT of measurements. ALSO: The side built in 1985 has been closed for 1 week and there have been reports of RMC workers walking on the closed side of the track, note: one side of the track is still functional. They are only walking on the non-functional side. The reason why le Monstre track 2 is closed is because RMC is retracking it with topper track like how they did in 2012. -

where did you hear that there will be only one RMC to six flags have next? That's weird because I heard that Twisted twins and Roar at six flags discovery kingdom might get it next year. -

I'll go to La Ronde tomorrow so I'll see if most of this is true. But also le Cobra hasn't opened this season and last week one of the sides of le Monstre was closed. -

Don't spread rumour as if it was a done deal. No one knows what is going to happen to the Cobra and the RMC woodie or premier launch coast are nothing more than speculations from enthusiast. I'm definetely curious to see that poster now though. Those are not speculations from enthusiasts. Those are real rumours going on between the employees over there and the Xtreme La Ronde forums. Here's the definition of a rumour since you seem to believe that a rumour is a confirmation of what is going to happen in the future: rumour (ˈruːmə) or rumor n 1. a. information, often a mixture of truth and untruth, passed around verbally b. (in combination): a rumour-monger. 2. gossip or hearsay 3. din or clamour 4. fame or reputation There you go, nothing more than speculations, no confirmation. You misunderstood my reply. What I meant is that those rumors didn't come from us, the enthusiasts, but from the park's employees and those rumors have been going on for quite some time now. In 2006, the park got Goliath for it's 40th anniversary in 2007 and the rumors that where going on between the employees about that coaster getting built started about two years before it got built. And keep in mind that in 2016 it will be the park's 50th season and 2017 will be its 50th anniversary so it's not impossible that something similar could happen and lately, Six Flags has been working a lot with RMC and Premier rides. -

I don't think that would happen soon because they spent a lot of money retracking it and buying new PTC trains and besides there's already a lot of roumors going on about 2017 when they will demolish le Cobra to build a new coaster and THAT coaster could be an RMC woodie or also a Premier rides launch coaster.
