  1. For me, I would say Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland.
  2. I understand that CW is most likely getting a new coaster in 2015. They pull the most guest in a year every season. Its understandable. People saying that the park is neglected and NEEDS something is getting crazy. But I do agree there deserving giving the parks performance, and they really need a good looper I agree that a lot of parks are due for a new coaster. That is why I was disappointed when Carowinds got Fury325 instead of any other neglected Cedar Fair park. It seems that the only parks Cedar Fair cares about is Canada's Wonderland, Carowinds, Kings Dominion, Kings Islande and of course Cedar Point. I think the reason why Michigan's Adventure is so neglected is because Cedar Point is close to Michigan's Adventure and Cedar Fair wants more people to go to Cedar Point than Michigan's Adventure. I wish Cedar Fair would sell Michigan's Adventure to someone who is interested in making it better. It was only Paramount that was neglecting Canada's Wonderland, as soon as Cedar Fair bought it they completely turned this park around.
  3. I know, but Canada's Wonderland is due for a new coaster in 2016.
  4. Why? Read pages 617 and 618 about that discussion.
  5. There is no park busier than Canada's Wonderland! It is the most visited seasonal amusement park in North America. A Fast Lane ticket is a must if you go there.
  6. I thought the reason why Skyrider was removed, was so that they would have room for a new coaster. I'm pretty sure there isn't a space crisis at CW. I'd be inclined to believe the maintenance theory more that the new coaster theory. With that said, I do believe CW gets a new coaster, but I'm not so sure it goes in SR's spot. I think the new coaster will go were Skyrider is. Even though there is a bit of room around the park, I think that the new coaster will go behind Behemoth and go in Splash Works. Take a look at this picture, I do not think this will be the real layout but it shows were there is room for a new coaster. I also doubt that the new coaster will be a launched coaster.
  7. I thought the reason why Skyrider was removed, was so that they would have room for a new coaster. There is always more than one reason. But either way, making room for a new coaster is more of "bonus". Yeah, there is nothing people want more in a amusement park than a new coaster especially in this case were the coaster might be a 'very big project". I cannot wait till they announce the new coaster!

  9. It would also break records for the worst suggestion in the history of the Canada's Wonderland thread. You must have this confused with the Darien Lake thread. What is wrong with it? I know it is unrealistic but I like it. You wrote this loop-de-loop Re: Canada's Wonderland Discussion Thread Postby loop-de-loop » Mon Oct 27, 2014 5:00 pm Regarding the 1995 B&M invert fallout, there are two sides to every story and we have only heard the park's side of the story so they can say whatever they want. There is something the park isn't telling us. B&M is a professional company that if they did make a deal with Cedar Point that no other inverts could be built in a 200 mile radius, they would let the park know immediately instead of wasting their time and resources on a layout. So this is my wild conspiracy theory: Cedar Point did make a deal with B&M that no inverts could be built within 200 miles of the park, and B&M informed CW of this. CW then pays CP for an exception which Cedar Point agrees to since Wonderland isn't really in competition with CP. Plans for an invert at CW get underway, but the park and B&M have a falling out, the plans fall through and an SLC goes in instead. CW gets their money back from CP, and the park swore never to reveal this secret, and instead puts all the blame on CP. Disclaimer: I don't think this is serious, nor what actually happened, though the park definitely is holding something back. Plus I'm sure B&M would have built a giga for any park that asked for one, not just because they felt bad for Wonderland.
  10. Did anyone ride Zombies 4D yet? Also I have a new idea for a 2016 new coaster. A double roller coaster were one side is a flying coaster and the other is either an inverted coaster or a wing coaster. Both of those roller coasters would break records for height and length. Also they would crossover each other and go in a insane layout like the old B & M's. Even though this would be awesome, I really do not think that Canada's Wonderland would instal one like it.
  11. Unless they turn Mean Streak into a hybrid coaster, they would probably remove it than build a new coaster there.
  12. I did not make that paragraph someone else did! Sorry for asking the park, I was very curious, I thought they might say a few ideas of what they had without giving away too much info.
  13. What do you prefer? The B & M drop were it goes inward or the drop that Goliath has which is a straight 60 degrees until the bottom of the drop.

  15. Really? I mean, this comment.... You guys have Thunder Run, a decent family powered-coaster. You also have Back-Lot Stunt Coaster, another decent family coaster. Not to mention the several, unique flat rides CW has. Then you have trees and great landscaping, something most modern North American parks lack. Don't talk about CW being neglected. Heck, Cedar Fair pays more attention to CW than Six Flags does to Magic Mountain, which gets negative reviews from enthusiasts for bad operations and a messy park. Also, let's not forget that CW is due for a new coaster in 2016. I'd like to see you still complaining that your park gets neglected. I was wrong, I was just comparing it to parks like Six Flags Great America which have a lot of B & M's and even an RMC. The only rides worth riding are Leviathan, Behemoth and maybe Vortex or Wonder Mountains Guardian.
  16. I was just curious, especially because I hate that ride so much and I was hoping maybe they had plans or something for 2015 or 2016 or maybe even 2017.
  17. Does X-flight have a problem with banking, like too little or too much? Also how are the dispatch times for X-flight?
  18. Wait, does Holiday World hand out candy?
  19. I asked Canada's wonderland if they were going to do anything with the restrains on Flight Deck, and this is what they said: The Flight deck restraints will remain the same as the current design for the 2015 season.
  20. This is true. However it is not a coaster where you experience a 500' drop or speed. It a coaster that is built up instead of out. Cedar point was not the First 400' coaster, they were the first 400' full Circuit coaster. I still think that 500' needs to be broke where you at least feel the speed. I don't know, but I do think it was said perfectly that whatever it is, is something we won't know. I do believe Cedar Point has something huge planed, they already have plans for their 150, what it is will be the game for awhile. It is just going to be a Polercoaster. The ride is just a large tower with twist but no big drops 500ft down.
  21. Is Dominator dangerous? Because I remember someone died after going on it.
  22. Why would Cedar Point do this. Now I do not like Cedar Point even more than I already do. I really do not like competition between theme parks epically like this were no B & M inverts could be made within 200 miles. Now all the parks close to Cedar Point can not enjoy an awesome B & M invert. I guess I was wrong about Canada's Wonderland being neglected. I realized that ever since Cedar Fair bought it, the park got huge rides. So it was just Paramount that was neglecting it.
  23. I guess, I do know lots of facts but I have never ridden a roller coaster at Six flags Great America. Now back to topic.
  24. From the posts you made earlier, it appears you've never ridden Raging Bull, yet somehow you think you can say that it's "an OK hyper coaster". How would you know? Just wondering. Just from facts, discussions, pov's, after all I know a lot about roller coasters. Just a page ago you asked the difference between a hyper and hyper twister. Then you asked what it means to be trimmed, then said Raging Bull is okay, but you want all hypers and gigas to be like Raging Bull, which is nonsensical within itself. I'm sensing conflicting information here... I was pretty sure already what does things meant, but just to be sure I asked.
  25. Yeah, but I would have preferred no new coaster for a while if it was a Vekoma SLC
