Thought with all those involved ! I was shocked the park was shut now for a second day but Nick Varney looked shocked and said they wanted to check all the rides out before reopening. I think he is genuinely concerned but I guess by doing this it also demonstrates a commitment to TOTAL safety to the HSE. Stu K

OK Guys I promised a review/trip report. I will Start with WOW great little park with free Coasters! Yes free*! (* Six Flags Great America Parking $25 2 x sodas $10 Holiday World booked on line $34.99) So with the free parking and sodas the rides were free. We sort of did the park front to back as we found the rides starting with all front seat rides. Raven was a great fun ride that really made me smile had read lots of great reports and it delivered. As did the voyage so much speed and cannot imagine what it was like before the brakes (maybe i Don't want to Lol) . The sleeper of the trip was Legend this took me by surprise all the praise I have seen was for the other 2 woodies so much fun with the pops of air time and wicked laterals think I rode this the most. Did Thunderbird front both sides good ride and I think in any other park I would have been amazed but after the 3 Woodies it was just good. I had a ride in the back and think in my opinion only the back was best. That said it was a real crowd pleaser ( young school crowd the day i was there). They were impressed with the loops. A park is nothing with out its staff and boy they are good loading the trains fast and efficiently. The Bad the weather was pretty cold so did not brave the water park. ( I have to go back some time any excuse.) The turkey shooter I have forgotten the name but is it supposed to be that hard to score ? Or were we just bad. Still a bit jet lagged but thought i would type something whilst I remembered. Stu K

Glad its all fixed one of those things with new rides. 1 more sleep till I fly state side and next Wednesday for holiday world. Will do a brits 1st trip report when I get back. Not often I get a new coaster these days and I get 3 new parks in the next couple of weeks. Stu K

Thanks for the update glad to see its back on the track! I am returning after 14 years and Wicked Twister is one of the new rides I need to do. Just over a week to go whoop whoop. Stu K

Great report a small park with a ton of love. Not been since 2001 but next year I return whoop whoop. Stu K

I'm not a fish fan myself but my wife is she noticed perch sandwiches. We also made a point of riding Cedar Downs Racing Derby. We had done the one at Rye Playland and Blackpool so got the set. I believe only 3 in the world! Not been since 2001 looking forward to May 23rd! Stu K

THANKS DrEmmettBrown88 for the heads up on the spiders are they just on the entrance? My wife hates them so much, as in if there's one in the car she would sooner crash than stay in car with spider. Remember October trip to Magic mountain and there was a huge one on Colossus lol. Stu K

Thanks for the updates guys the count down for me is getting closer 20th May my 1st ever visit. Coasters aside what are the other must dos? Im not a water park guy but may ditch shoes and shirt to do the Mammoth and wilderbeast. Stu K

Hotels.com great tip, Book park tickets on-line for discounts some do eating plans and pay with credit cards to get some points or cash back. Have fun Stu K

Super excited to see Anthem been planning a coaster tour around New Jersey and beyond, for my 40th next year. I have now got a sneaky 5 night cruise on Anthem to chill out on after 6 parks in 9 days lol. Stu K

I did fear that when I found out lol. $200 for 2 fast lane + not to bad not done CP since 2001 so spend the dollar and have fun! Stu K

Similar to webgoof I'm also hitting the point in May! just realised I'm there the Sunday of memorial day weekend and the Monday after I guess the Sunday is going to be very busy and hope things will calm down a bit on the monday.
