My brother and I are going to Cedar Point soon. We would like to know if the money we are paying is worth it. We are staying at Breakers Hotel, and are getting the two day ticket package. With the hotel and the tickets, our total comes out to around $900. We are driving all the way from Minnesota, which is about an 11 hour drive. We do live very close to Valleyfair, and we would like to know if driving all the way there is worth the money. Since we will be there for 2 days, do you think it is worth it to get the fast lane? Thanks!

Does anyone know if Valleyfair brings in more revenue than World's of Fun or CGA? Where do we stand in the chain?

Something big is coming to Valleyfair in the next 2 years. I just know it. The Waterpark expansion is going to be huge, and I think that the new coaster is coming in 2016. I just want to know!

I'm so confused!!! First, I thought they couldn't use the name Centurion, second, what's up with all the bee hive stuff going on, how does the bee net teasing match up with either name? I can't take waiting any longer.

I personally would like a wing coaster similar to GateKeeper. It would be something that not a lot of parks have. It would have to be forceful though, and it would be cool if it went over the front gate like GateKeeper.

I think the name Steel Viper is awesome.

Wild Thing at Valleyfair. Front row, and 75mph rain hurts. Badly

The track and teasers don't match up with the name centurion. I could see them matching up with fury 325, but what does that have to do with a big net? Maybe the coaster won't be called centurion or fury 325?

^^ There are separate lanes when you get in line to ride a ride. The lanes are usually labeled "Fast Lane". If you don't see that then just walk up the lane that is empty. That is usually the fast lane.

They will probably name our invert "The Loon" or something like that.

When Matt his VF, I really hope he realizes what is wrong with our park, and plans to fix them. We were stated that we will get significant growth, so maybe Matt has a plan for VF. A really exciting plan.

^^ I agree. And, If Corkscrew was removed, It wouldn't open up an insane amount of room. I don't think I b&m invert would even fit in corkscrews plot of land.

I'm pretty sure there is a lot of room in the park to place a new coaster. The plot of land currently occupied by DA is certainly large enough to fit a decent sized Invert, and if they move the maintenance building back, there is room there too. Does anyone know If there is land behind Excalibur and renegade that Valleyfair owns??

Xtreme swings were not running today at all. Most Likely because of the Cedar Point Skyhawk accident. I bet they are checking all the swings to make sure nothing else happens at valleyfair or any other park. Bummer

This accident caused Xtreme Swings at Valleyfair to not operate today. They are probably checking all of the swings at all the parks.

Ok I am really confused. I just saw an article on Valleyfairzone that really caught my eye. "The Dining Patio — including our beloved Subway franchise — will be removed in the immediate future to make way for a new 1/4-mile long sun-tanning location." Is this true? Or is it just a made up rumor?

Hopefully when the expansion is announced it is something that we can really look forward too. I would love a complete overhaul on the waterpark, with new slides, pool/water areas. And a longer and more fun lazy river. Something like Dragster H 20 would be nice, and I really hope Valleyfair doesn't disapoint with this expansion. Route 76 was a hit, so let's keep up with these great expansions VF.

A HUSS Giant Frisbee would be awesome for the park. We do need more rides like Xtreme Swing. An another topic, does anyone know how I could get in contact with Dave Frazier? Like does anyone have his email, or do I have to talk to him in person?
