  1. Quite often if I see there's a group of four in front of me on a B&M coaster and there's a group of less than four in front of them, I'll ask them if they mind if I go in front of them with the smaller group. Almost without fail they'll let me since it doesn't increase their wait time.
  2. I doubt Cedar Fair would ever buy another Windseeker again After all the problems it's had. You're more likely to get a B&M Giga. I agree. It seems Six Flags has had much better luck with the StarFlyer models they've installed.
  3. Make sure you get a ride on Possessed in the very last row. That coaster and Talon are my two favorite coasters at the park.
  4. They probably had their filter set-up incorrectly. Instead of searching for passholders and members who used their card on the 14th, they should have searched for passholders and members who used their card on the 14th at Great Adventure.
  5. There's a question on their FAQ page that answers your question. https://www.dorneypark.com/plan-a-visit/frequently-asked-questions
  6. Call me stupid, but what the heck does ROTB stand for?
  7. Stinger operated for a bit at the beginning of the season until there was a malfunction with people on the ride. It hasn't operated since.
  8. I still feel El Toro has plenty of force in the front seat. That hill over the remaining Rolling Thunder track feels like the ride is trying to throw me all the way over to Tango and probably farther.
  9. I've ridden both front and back of El Toro, and I actually prefer the front. The back was a bit too wild for me.
  10. If you're gonna do Safari, either get the Flash Pass or get on line first thing, because the line for that gets huge.
  11. I've never been on Demon Drop because I don't like drop rides, but in regards to relocated rides, I think Possessed is just awesome, especially in the back. It's actually the only ride at the park that makes me think "Oh my word, what the heck am I doing?".
  12. Below is a link to the page on Kennywood's web-site about parking. You may be able to use Gate D, since it's for buses, but I would contact the park beforehand just to make sure. https://www.kennywood.com/hours-and-directions/parking I can't speak to the crowds since I've only been there once, and that was this past July.
  13. how were the crowds today? I used the Gold Flash Pass, like I always do when I go to the park, so I can't say too much about how long the lines actually were. It seemed to be your average Saturday level, tho.
  14. Well, I just got home from the park. I rode Nitro four times, but I never got the C train. I rode in the very back for my last ride and I have to say I like the front better just because of the airtime. I rode Batman in the back for the first time today and I believe that's my new favorite seat on Batman.
  15. I am going to the park today. I will try to get a ride on Train C of Nitro and report my findings when I get back home.
  16. I apologize, you are TOTALLY right! (Jersey is America's armpit!) Unfortunately, you are correct about that, and I'm Jersey born and raised.
  17. I just got an email from Dorney Park about their season pass offerings for next season. It seems they are following Six Flags' lead and offering a season dining plan. https://www.dorneypark.com/ticket-category/Season-Passes#
  18. Now, if he had worn a shirt like the one below, there wouldn't be a problem.
  19. Oh, we don't. But ripping out essentially 5 coasters ( 2 sides of Chiller, GASM, and 2 sides of RT) in 7 years and replacing them with a cloned indoor mouse and a 15y.o B&M nut-banger is making us very thirsty to see some track on flatbeds come through! Amen on the "nut-banger", bro.
  20. I honestly like having that area underdeveloped. It makes for a nice, quiet and shaded respite area from the rest of the park. I agree. I tend to use that path to go from Nitro to El Toro just to avoid the crowds.
  21. I went to SFGA yesterday and got there before opening as I usually do. I also always head over to Nitro for my first ride after getting my Flash Pass. Yesterday, for some reason, they were allowing people in the Flash Pass entrance before they opened the regular queue. So, I was the first guest to ride Nitro yesterday, and I had the entire train to myself. I thought that was pretty neat.
  22. You can save money by buying tickets online. As for the lines, I can't really say. I always get the Gold Flash Pass when I go, so I don't really notice the lines.
  23. This may have been asked before, but I haven't read every page of this thread. What the heck is "YOLOCoaster"? I did not find any such coaster when I searched RCDB or when I went to SFMM's web-site.
  24. The reason I don't like Green Lantern is because my crotch hurts when I get off it. I'm pretty sure any stand-up coaster would have that result for me.
