  1. I thought it was a fair enough question. And on that note......they should build a 400 ft model lol
  2. Arrow pretty much turned into RMC and S&S's coaster division I know. I just meant the classic Arrow Dynamics.
  3. Honestly, with Jesters leaving and Ragin Cajun's spot still empty after 2 years, they should either relocate or move King Chaos and Big Easy Balloons and just ditch the entire Mardis Gras theme altogether. That would free up so many options. With that much room they could easily fit a 4D. Or, possibly even better, a newly themed flat package. Hell, I'd be happy with a Larson looper at this point, so long as they do SOMETHING to refresh that area of the park.
  4. ^yep. Everyone seems to hate it, but I absolutely love The Boss. Aside from that pothole at the bottom of the 3rd turnaround, I've ridden way rougher woodies. And although it seems agreed upon that American Thunder is a great ride (it is) I also think that Screamin Eagle is severely underrated. That thing is just nonstop airtime.
  5. AGREED. Sitting virtually sideways in the last seat on that ride is one of my favorite experiences from visiting KD.
  6. I would love to see suspended coasters make a comeback. And while we're at it, I think Arrow should make a comeback Hey I can dream, right?
  7. Awesome report! Man every time I see pictures of Phobia I'm reminded of just how much I LOVE those colors.
  8. Wow! Those are the first non positive reviews I've ever read of Storm Chaser and Lightning Run. Strangely it was almost refreshing to read a different point of view on this park. I'm still looking forward to visiting sometime soon. Thanks for the TR. While I get that it's one persons opinion versus another, but if he's allowed to have an opinion of the rides, I'm allowed to have an opinion of his opinion and IMO the guy sounds like a complete pussy when it comes to extreme rides. Seriously, Lightning Run and Storm Chaser are two of the most insane OMFG rides I've ever experienced, especially when it comes to airtime. You hit the brake runs on both rides going WTF JUST HAPPENED?!?!??! And you pretty much have to be a pussy to not appreciate that. Sounds like he should stick to rides like Big Thunder Mountain. There. That's my review on his review! lol This completely made my day.
  9. ^I can't imagine it's any different than anywhere else. There's only so much you can cram onto a portable amusement ride trailer you know?
  10. Some more pics from the Hoefnagels & Söhne Facebook page, showcasing the ride setup.
  11. Truth. One of my favorite memories is from a visit to the point a few years back. The park had closed for the day, so I made my way towards the front gate. As I came up to the entrance for Millie, I was shocked to see the line still open at what must have been almost 15 minutes past the scheduled close time. So of course I hopped right in and was on my way a few trains later. Such a cool thing for parks to do.
  12. You make what sells when you are in a niche industry with lots of competition. Agreed. Especially when sometimes it almost seems like there aren't many "new" ideas you could come up with. So why not do something tried and true but scale it up to be the tallest and fastest.
  13. ^^I was thinking the same thing. But it could just be the perspective. I'd imagine the base is similar to what they have on the standard Afterburner models you find here in the states. With Infinity though, the rest of the ride is just so damn tall that it makes the base seem much smaller than it probably is.
  14. The fact that it racks on 4 trailers is proof enough of how massive this thing is. Just think....this is on the travelling circuit. Meanwhile, we have parks in the US that aren't even permitted to build that tall lol.
  15. Right!?? After watching a bunch of on ride povs, it just looks completely insane.
  16. I haven't seen anything about this ride here on TPR, so I figured I'd give it a share. This new project from manufacturer KMG swings 360 degrees to a height of 61 meters (!!!!) and looks completely bonkers! Seems like it just debuted in the European fair circuit earlier this summer. Congrats to Hoefnagels & Söhne on their fantastic new addition! Anyone been able to experience it yet? I included some photos from KMG and Hoefnagels & Söhne's social media, as well as a couple video links (not mine) Thanks to Youtube user kirmesfanmopohl for the vids.
  17. Anyone else as happy as I am that they're finally getting rid of the eyesore that is Jesters Wild Ride? lol. Really excited to see what the future holds.
  18. ^ I was just reading that now.....as I let out a huge sigh of relief lol
