Going To SFMM Jan.8 Tips
goliathking replied to goliathking's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
About the Tatsu not opening soon. I know, I just thought that since every body obviously knew so much about rollercoasters, duh. You guys already knew this stuff. You guys knew they were making a flyer before they posted it on the website. No offense, but this website, about rollercoasters, is almost entirely made up of cynics. I rely on cynics. At least about rollercoasters. But any way, if any body knows any thing about, please let me know, k! -
Hi, yeah. I'm getting my play pass this week and I wanted to know what rides were usually not open in the winter. How crowds would be. If it's not worth getting phnemonia over. Stuff like that. Because i've only been there in the summer and crowds were horendous. Oh yeah, the last thing I wanted to know was, if play pass holders get the right to ride tatsu before it opens to the general public? Like they'er doing with Expidition Everest. Cause that would be so cool!

I can't drive. There fore, I don't need it. By the way, do you know if play pass holders for SFMM have the benifit to ride Tatsu before it opens, like they're doing with Expidition Everest. I hope so. -

SFMM parking?
goliathking replied to lapseofreason's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
I'm like turning 12 on Jan.5 and like i'm getting a play pass for 2006. I live in Lancaster. And we have a bus that goes straight to this drop off place like a half a mile from Magic Mountain. Then another bus comes and takes you all the way to X's raven turn. Yeah so I don't have to pay parking, mainly because I can't drive. But when I went there for fright fest. My dad parked right in the parking lot where Scream, Colossus, and Goliath resign and he didn't have to pay anything. Oh yeah, and I have 2 questions. Is it really that cold up there in January? And, does everything really fly out of your pocket on X? -

I've been scared on a few coasters and non-coasters. Xcelerator, Goliath, The Ferris Wheel, Supreme Scream, and Colossus Backwards The first was the Ferris Wheel. I was on it with my mom and she started rocking it. She rocked it so much we were almost on our backs! I screamed so loud to get off. But the opperator had an attitude problem about it though, because he was mad at me. The next was Supreme Scream. The line was like only 5 minutes so I didn't really have any time to reasure myself that it was fine. But any way, I was there with my dad last summer. I'm 11 even though my little info thing says 13. But anyway, we got on and mydad started making all these jokes about how it was gonna brake. It felt like an eternity going up that tower. Finally we got to the top and it made that jolt. If you've ever been on it before you know what i'm talking about. It scared the crap out of me. When we dropped I screamed so loud. I was so scared. I ended up riding it again though. Xcelerator is was hell for me. I kept watching the people get launched and go into the top hat. Then come back down screaming. It looked so scary. I rode in the back seat. You get so much airtime on this ride! I ended up loving this ride though, must ride for Knotts. On Goliath while I was in line my heart was pounding, I was really hoping there would be seatbelts and a lapbar on it, like on Ghostrider. It didn't. That made me really nervous because even on Ghostrider I had major airtime. So I almost didn't ride, but my dad forced me, I mean encouraged me to, so I did. At the top of the lift hill it feels like the car is gonna roll back. the drop wasn't all that scary for me though. Lift hills freak me out more than drops. All in all, Goliath was really fun I ended up riding it again with my hands up. Last but not least was Colossus Backwards. I litterally cried in the line I did not want to do this at all. Four trains went by until the ops convinced me to ride. It's so awsome, the airtime is good too. Way better than Colossus forwards. You gotta try this in Fright Fest. Well, that's the the rides I was scared to death on. 8) cool huh.

Oh yeah, if Ashley participates in the forums I would really like her to tell me how her ride went. Because like I said im totally freaked out about riding it! :o -
Hi my name is Sean. Im new here. I just saw Elissas' and Ashleys' TR on SFMM 8 rides in 2 hrs. And I saw something that freaked me out  . You see, I'm 4'7, and I saw Ashleys seatbelt while she was riding the ride Deja Vu. The harness was like to her belly button. And I should be going to SFMM in January or Febuary, or maybe even March, depending on the weather so, if anyones been on DV could you give me some info on the restraints. Or post so pics if you haven't been on it or seen it. Because if the seatbelts really are like that, I don't think i'll be riding it any time soon. .
