39-120min depending on weather Well, so far, it's supposed to be pretty nice that day. I'll make sure that I have my phone charged, and I'll bring my hat. -

How have lines been during the middle of the week for Steel Curtain? I'll have 8 hours worth at the park on Wednesday, maybe 9. Never been there. I'd like to get at least 2 rides in as well as enjoy the rest of the park. -

Man, I'm going to have a ball. Better believe that I'm going to do some of this. I'll have the better part of a day to do these things. ☺ -

Quieter than I thought in here, especially with Steel opening..lol..I want to hear more reviews! Still, I'm planning a trip from MD on Monday. Can I easily enjoy the park within 8 hours? I plan to get there at opening. If there is any plan that can be shared, let me know. I plan on credit grabbing first, then do other things in the park. Contemplating hitting Steel Curtain about 2 hours after opening, as most will head there first. Smart, or no? Is Monday a 'summer camp' day? I've never been to Pitt. Any other things in the area that I should see? Thanks -

Happy to hear this, as I may be driving up there next Friday. Need the credit. -
Just realized that I never did a little review of Firebird. 2x better than Apoc with no head banging in the 4th to 6th row. A love tap in the 5th row I got after the corkscrew, but that's it. Don't have sensitive ears, so I'm good. First row wasn't too bad, but a little more of a jolt than the last 3 rows. 2nd row, I got smashed. All in all, I will ride, and reride this when I go to the park. I got in 8 rerides that day. Another guy had 35. When it was Apoc, I only rode on National Rollercoaster Day, and that's it. What does that tell you? Taking into account that this is the manufacturer's first go, I can see the mistake with that corkscrew;a reprofile needs to be done. Colors, landscaping, and 'Firebird' fire spitting mountain were all great. Music is appropriate for the ride, but miss the Apoc theme music. As always, I give any park a thumbs up for doing, or at least making the attempt to increase guess experience. This is a win. Fire effect looks great at night when they close at 9. They'll be open until 10 next weekend, with a full DJ setup. I'll be there! Additionally, many said for years that they would never do this. Guess they were wrong..lol..

They have a military ticket program. $40 in free tickets. I'm thinking of squeezing Great Adventure in this trip too. -

That's good news. A guy on my IG chat said that. Didn't make sense, so I asked in here. Thanks for that info. I can't wait to go in 3 weeks. -

See, I want in in that. I'll double check before I leave. I may actually be able to go on Friday, but not until about 4. -

Yeah, I'm looking forward to it. I was planning on getting there at 11 sharp, though, I have heard that the place really shines at night. Do you think that I can fill the day until sundown? If I were bringing my daughters on this trip, then sure, but just me I don't know. I heard the Haunted Mansion is closed on weekends. I'm a little salty about that. -

Need some quick Intel for my first trip. I'm going the end of June, and have no real rush. Are the lines unbearable on Saturdays? -
^^JG just said it all. Though, I'll say ops are moving quite good this year, but sometimes it depends on the crowds. More people=faster ops. Also, if you want the Mind Eraser credit, ride only in the front or second row. On Roar, the best ride is 3 seats from the back. If you plan on going to the water park, and actually don't want to rush, plan on an entire day. I actually enjoy every food place there, but I recommend going to the saloon to have brisket or pulled pork, while watching the show that they put on in there. It's a good production. If you are doing any drinking, Hurricanes in Mardi Gras is the place to go. Good music and atmosphere. Also, the place by the wave pool is a great place to have a brew. Ride Cyclone. Probably the best scrambler that I've ridden, especially when talking about the ride cycle.
