I usually do not get in on the new ride discussion until the middle of July, or until there is a teaser/clue. I have to say something now though. For the last year, I just knew that SFA would be getting a water coaster for 2018. I was really hoping too. Anyone who knows me, knows that I love water parks. As of today, my crap prediction has changed. With HITP here now, I thought that plans might change to add another attraction to be able to add to the event. I believe that a Justice League is coming. Every year since I've been coming here (2012), there have been 4 or 5 events, or more, in the arena. This summer-fall, there are none planned. Any thing that needs a stage is being held at the water park stage. I will be taking a closer look at the Batman props this weekend to look for any dismantling. A Justice League would look great right there, as there are two entrances to Gotham that would head straight towards it. I know what someone is thinking: Gotham is closed for HITP. That's irrelevant, as the stage is right at the entrance of Gotham. People would flock to it in the cold too. Of course, all of this talk of JL, water coasters, and V2 could go right down the toilet, as we get butt hurt from getting a Spinsanity.

I just returned from a Great Escape, SFNE, Compounce, Quassy, SFNJ trip and will be writing up something this week. First RMC conversion coaster ride for me on Wicked Cyclone and I am hooked. While I think an RMC ROAR would finally give the park a coaster I could love, I don't see it happening. ROAR is a cold weather coaster for sure and people will catch on to this only adding to FF and HitP. SFGAm's impulse seems most likely. If they were going to spend money I could see another Joker 4D cookie cuttered in. The easiest way to disperse that crowded parking lot in the park itself is a path between Coyote Creek and the back of Gotham. When they do that they can clear the area for the Impulse or a Joker 4D. It would create some hype and buy a year. Change the restraints on Mind Eraser (which made it a tolerable ride at SFNJ). Drop in some Freestyle beverage stops while they're at it. I would rather see them focus on ride op and food service training, couldn't advertise it, but it would help. I would love for them to partner with Chik Fil A in some way to have them train food staff and run the booths. Other than Batwing, I do not have an issue with ride ops. Food service is another issue. Someone needs to do something.

Six Flags America actually has a forth (unpaved) lot to the west of what most people call the "third" lot (the lot on the western border of the water park). Currently, a paintball company is leasing the land for a paintball course, however, if the park really wanted/needed the lot, they could quickly and easily convert the space into dirt lot with the intent to pave it if it was utilized frequently enough. In a pinch, about 1.5 acres of this "forth" lot is already paved and could be used if needed. The bigger issue is that it is about 2/3rds of a mile walk from this lot to the main entrance, so if they were going to utilize this lot frequently, they would want/need to make dedicated tram lanes to access this lot. Ah. I didn't know that. Thanks.

Lol, I don't see any big investments thanks to the size of the parking lot. Filled to the brim last weekend, and consistent 3rd lot filling last year. I usually do not get into real guessing until July, but I think water coaster or V2. Talk to me again in about a month. Something funny. My youngest daughter is exactly 44 inches, so she can and did ride Wonder Woman; she can't ride the smaller swings up front: 48 inches. Lol, I know it's because of better safety systems on WW, but thought it was funny.

They put up a pretty cool entrance for WW. I'll post tonight. The lot was literally filled to the brim. I got there at 1:30, and left at around 5:30. Batwing did open. I liked the picnic. All you can eat ice cream=win. No lines for food when I was there. Hot dog buns were terrible, but everything else was good.

Depends on when you get there, and whether or not you are doing the waterpark. No waterpark, with flats: Mardi Gras section -- Rajin Cajin (biggest line most of the time; get it early), flyers, Wild One, drop, fireball, zinger. Gotham -- Jokers, Wonder Woman, Superman, then Batwing (should be open by then). Next, skip Chesapeake ( I'll tell you why shortly). Go to Coyote's Creek -- ride the cows and Mind Eraser. Next, catch EFX 3.0 (Must see) at 1 or 130, can't remember the time. Ride 'the splash boat'; always forget the name of it. Go back to Coyote's Creek to ride the rapids (it may be uncomfortable to watch the show if you get wet before). Close walk. Next, go back to Chesapeake to ride Roar. At this point, figure out what you want to reride, because all that is left is Apocalypse. Riding it may ruin the rest of your coaster riding day. Enjoy the great theming and soundtrack, then pass on it. Don't say that I didn't warn you. Need the credit, then have at. Ride the second row. After the above, get the stunt show in. It is very good. I believe that they have 3 times. Try to squeeze in the Mardi Gras show in someplace. I think it only runs at 3. The Coyote Creek show is alright. When it is time to eat, go there. The block party show is very good. It's at 6. Ride the scrambler on the way out. Waterpark?: Do that first, then do above, except flip the Mardi Gras section with Gotham. Have kids?: There are 2 sections that are 2 different locations. Plan accordingly. If you 'really ' do the park with a couple of rerides, you'll be there 5 hours or so on the weekend. The week? Maybe 2 1/2-3. Depends on show times. Waterpark=entire day.

What they said ^^. Are you going to the water park? Use your own judgement, but I would do the splash boat, yes I called it that (have since I was a little boy), first. You'll eventually dry off as you stay at the park, instead of 'drying ' in your car. If you have leather in your car, then strike the last comment.

I knew it was something. Yes, I do a 'trick' when they clamp Superman's bar down. I kinda shift my forearm down there before they push it down. Water park today for me! I have only run into mean employees at the go karts. Every year it is like that. They need a new loud system out there. The stunt show was funny. Looking forward to seeing it again, especially when they get all of the moves down; faster action.

I broke down and bought the go cart season pass yesterday. Great idea..lol..I used 16 bucks of riding yesterday. Pass cost 30. Getting 2 more laps today. Basically, I will pay for that pass today. I usually ride about 4-6 times a year, so it is worth it to me. That number would actually be higher, but had to pay. Not this year!
