  1. Great to see you back in Mexico! Hope you had a great time (and judging by your trip report, you did!). I'd love to ride The Bullet but it's kinda far from where I live. That station looks cool!
  2. Don't believe everything you read. Acapulco, while not the safest city in the world, is far away to be one of the most dangerous in the whole world. I just went there two weeks ago and it is just as quiet as going to Puerto Vallarta or any other beach in Mexico. Plus, the zone where the investments are planned (Zona Diamante) is way, WAY too safe. The ugly things that happen in Acapulco are in the town, which is like 30-45 minutes away from zona diamante.
  3. I think it'd be a great addition. Acapulco is one of the most visited beaches in Mexico, and people don't go there just to the beach, there are a lot of other activities to do there.
  4. Taken from El Financiero. http://www.elfinanciero.com.mx/empresas/six-flags-y-nickelodeon-apuntan-inversiones-hacia-guerrero.html Translated:
  5. "Falling Back To Earth" - Haken What an amazing surprise this band is.
  6. Hi guys! I'm super excited that I'm finally going to the park this Sunday, but I wanted to know what are the seats I can´t miss. I´ve heard that the last row in Goliath is the best, but I don´t actually know, neither with the other coasters. Can somebody help me? Thanks!
  7. Medusa Steel Coaster. Such a great coaster. LOTS of airtime, and that last inversion is just amazing. Best coaster I've been on.
  8. Thanks so much for the help! It's very kind for all you guys to help me. I'll post my TR
  9. Hey guys! So, I'm going to SFMM on Sunday, November 2nd and I wanted to know if the park will be packed being that it's just one day after the end of the Fright Fest. Would it be a good idea to buy the Flash Pass? And in case the park's very packed, which coasters do you recommend going to first? Thank you so much for your help, I've been waiting for this day for 11 years!
  10. I dont think this will be a HUGE coaster. But first things first. This coaster is NOT going to the Mexico City area, its going to Tepic, which is like 8 hours from Mexico City. The reason I don't believe this is going to be a big coaster is exactly because of the place it's going to be located. Tepic is not a big tourist place and neither a big, important city. I hope they actually build something cool, but I'm not getting excited until I see some serious news.
  11. It's not about how slow they are going, it's because, even with the tour they are offering, it is pretty hard to see the rest of the coaster.
  12. Wait till you ride on Medusa and you will know that B&M is not as good. Intamin, maybe RMC is still not there. But RMC can definitely beat B&M The only US park I've been is SFFT, so I've ridden B&M and RMC Coasters, and yeah, I liked IRat more than I did Goliath or Superman, but would still be good to see that kind of coaster in my homepark. Unfortunately, I haven't ridden an Intamin, and I'm dying to do it one day. Hopefully, in my home park.
  13. My homepark is Six Flags Mexico. Of course, I'm very excited for the RMC treatment on Medusa, but I think the park REALLY needs a B&M or any Intamin coaster. The "best" manufacturer we have after RMC is Chance Morgan, which is great, but not as great as the two I just listed. Hopefully!
  14. No. The tour is given to all of the visitors for free, you just have to be lucky because they only offer it when no one's working in Medusa.
  15. Hey there! So, SFM decided to give tours through Medusa Steel Coaster when no one's working in it, and this tour is 100% free. The pics are provided by Milton Garduño and Jesus Arevalo (http://www.facebook.com/montanarusa and http://www.facebook.com/pages/El-mundo-de-las-monta%C3%B1as-rusas) It's 30 meters high, but the drop is actually 36 meters. That first drop looks sexy as hell.
  16. I think its very weird to see Zonga in its new location at La Feria de San Marcos in Aguascalientes, Mexico. Its just weird to see a big Schwarzkopf coaster in the middle of a fair which is only open one month per year.
  17. Not a lot of changes as of now, but they have finished the drop. As usual, picture taken from Milton Garduño. It seems its going to be AWESOME
  18. As always, great report! Mexico City is SO big there are places I've never seen before. Hope you continue posting some photos from your trip.
  19. Great TR again! Xochimilco is such a nice place to spend the day and get drunk. That last photo is at "El Borrego Viudo" am I right?
  20. Hey there! Medusa's re-construction is going FAST! As usual, the pics are from Milton Garduño (http://www.montanarusa.com/forum) First drop almost done
  21. Great pics! Really loving the TR! I'm from Mexico City and I've never been to Tijuana, but it looks kinda bad, unlike the rest of Mexico! Cancún, Mexico City, Guadalajara, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Puebla and Veracruz are incredibly beautiful! Keep the pics coming!
  22. Great TR! I'm glad you liked Mexico! Loved all the stories! Can't wait for La Feria de Chapultepec TR.
  23. Hey there! I'm new in the forums, and I decided to post this photos I took from Montana Rusa's FB page. THESE ARE NOT MY PHOTOS, THESE WERE TAKEN BY THE MONTANARUSA.COM PEOPLE. They increased the height of the lift hill. First steel tracks already installed. They've already put the metal supports for the first drop.
