Was at the park yesterday and lines were about 10 mins. Great time to go.

^It really irks me that they didnt work on Xcelerator before summer......but safety first!

^I guess they're testing out some paint or something, the transfer track has fresh paint on one side. But its probably not getting new paint anytime soon. It doesnt look bad from far away but its really rusty up close.

They have a sign right next to the main gate for early entry.

^Lines have died down, I would expect lines to be around 45-60 mins. After 5pm the lines are usually about 30 mins or less. Its going to be hotter these upcoming weeks.

^Knott's hasnt really advertised teenagers since the whole ride warriors era. Knotts is a family park in the sense that they everything that any member of a family can enjoy;coasters, thrill rides, family rides, kiddy rides, shows. Knotts has everything!

Xcelerator's purple train is still not up. Silver Bullet, GhostRider, and Boomerang have all gotten stuck in the lifts so far this weekend

You should start by making your way to the back of the park (Xcelerator) so that you can avoid long lines since its only running one train. GhostRider has a huge line in the morning and you should wait till the line dies off. You should defintetly ride GhostRider in the back seat because you get the most airtime.

^Thats would've been thinking. Silver Bullet has some decent forces now. GhostRider is not as bad anymore as say 2006. If you sit in the last car you get loads of ejector air in the first drop.

Why can't Kbf just get these trains. They look pretty awesome

^I went to Kbf on a tuesday last August and the park was only crowded in the morning, after that every line was 10-15 mins. Since your going during the week in late August, the park should not be too crowded since most schools start during that time. I wouldn't expect it to be dead though. I think a few rides have camera holders.

I wonder what flat ride will go in plant seeker's spot? I'm hoping for a starflyer or a gran slammer type ride.

Xcelerator colors are not the best but they fit to the 50's theme.

Whats up with Riptide? It hasn't been open for months.
