  1. 1) I'm probably the only TPR member from Connecticut

    2) my ancestors on my mom side owned a house where George Washington decided to attack trenton along side the delware river

    3) You pronounce the first three letters of my last name...which is Keough (key-o)

    4) My room is covered from floor to ceiling with posters.

    5) I almost died in a car crash before I was born. If my Mom hadn't worn her seatbelt, i wouldn't be around today.

  2. I downloaded it. But never really used it. I didn't like how they didn't have the pull down menu bar at the top (the File, Edit, View...etc). Another thing is the bars at the top are too big. I prefer using Firefox since it's a smaller panal so I can see more of the websites.

  3. Nice photos! SFNE is defintely on my list of parks to do before I'm 30, if only for Superman!

Here's to hoping that Catapult has a relatively trouble-free season. Slammer at Thorpe Park is an awesome ride, and I hope this one is open more than during its time at Astroworld.

SFNE is up there in being one of the good Six Flags parks. Of course, it was 10 times better during it's Riverside era. But it's still good.

Also, I think I saw the superman guy when I went on opening day. My Dad asked me what kind of person wears a Superman T-Shirt with the cape attached on the back.

  4. AHH!!! I'm blind... it's so bright!!!

Hey wally, I'm the same way when it comes to tans....We don't get them if we get full fledge winters!

Btw soren, are you going to be in the next issue of Theme Park Review's Magazine: Swimsuit Edition?

  5. I learned that Catapult was actually running, so I made a B-line to it. The whole area on the south end looks really good now.

Did you mean the north end?

Also, when you mentioned the TR was sad and pathetic, that threw me off a bit. Did you mean the TR itself was sad and pathetic, or your trip to SFNE. Because after reading it, it sounded like you had a good day.

Next I made my way to Batman the Dark Knight, only to fight against the new parade, which was meandering through the park. Now, for those of you not familiar with the park, the paths aren't that big, especially when it's busy. I found myself walking on little kids laps to get by.

Yeah, our paths were never designed for parades in mind... I wish they re-open the bridge by Spider so that during the parade route, you got the back way to take to avoid it to get to the south end.

  6. Dunkin Donuts pays me 7.00/hr, and Wal*Mart actually paied me 8.35/hr because of my years of experience in the supermarket retail and my customer service experience.

As for Costco, no, we don't have any in Bangor. But I'm all set with jobs in both Bangor & Home. Dunkin Donuts in Bangor, and Stop & Shop back home which takes great care of their employees. And our store is one of the best in the area since the people who work there and the people who shop there all live in the area. So we're like one big family.

  7. Very nice PTR Skyscraper. I saw you at SFMM a few months ago but was too shy to say anything. Oh Well.

Hmm I thought Six Flags got rid of Mr. Six? (last pic)

Partially. SFNE hasn't has time to remove the themeing completely from Pandemonium. They took off the rotating Mr. Six's on top of some supports, but next year the "Mr. Six's" wording and the last Mr Six cut out by the ride sign will be gone.

  8. No I didn't see you but I saw your friend with the black TPR t-shirt(he was going to Catapult I was leaving Cyclone... (i had my TPR under my jacket). I would have said Hi but I'm too shy and not confident enough with my english !

The next day I saw a guy with an Xcelerator t-shirt, he was talking about the UK coasters trip of TPR...

Around what time was he going to catapult and you were leaving Cyclone?

  9. Get used to SWAT err.. Catapult not working .. was down more than up from 2003-2005 .. including most of closing day.

Amen. Sadly, that thing hissed and huffed and puffed so many times. I felt really bad for AW's maintence crew, but I knew they were up to it. I suppose SFNE's crew will have to adapt to SWAT, uh, Catapult's malfunctionings, just as AW's crew did.

I probably rode in that raft while it was here at Houston...

I hope SFNE calls S&S to get up to SFNE and help them fix the weight programming issue.

  10. Hey! Thanks for representing TPR guys! Seriously, that puts a smile and makes me feel all gitty!!! Sorry you guys had a crappy day. Hopefully things will get better.

It wasn't all that bad, as long as I got my ride on superman, I was set for the day.

And with me meeting up with the other TPR member, that happend by coinsidence. James and I were on SWF and I saw someone that looked to have a TPR shirt on by the water guns. When we got down to the bottom I pointed to him and said ,"TPR!" Then we ran into each other later that day at Catapult.
