Not sure on the shorter lines at the other popular coasters because of GK, but GK will always have more people in line than Disaster Transport, Wildcat, and Space Spiral had in line combined, plus! So maybe that will help the other lines some!

This crap should stay out of water parks. The lines move slow enough for slides already! I totally support it at the ride parks, but those are usually high capacity rides.

Robb, i agree! I would do the same. I will buy it at parks that i dont get to very often. But for CP, i visit so much and have been on everything a million times, that i have a great plan on when to ride certain rides. I have nothing against FL, but wish they would do better with how many people with FL merge at one time. Some of the lines are ridiculous with the amount they let in, completely stopping the regular line. 35 minutes added to what should have been a 45 minute line is pretty significant in my eyes!

Robb, from the way i read it on CP website, is that regualr FL does not even include 1 ride on GK or TTD. Those 2 are reserved for FL+ only. For what its worth, without any breakdowns, FL added 35 minutes to what should have been a 45 minute line on Millennium Force last year. Line was just before the candy machines.

It honestly needs to be gutted. Probably the most of any that have already been done! Some of the lift hill may be all thats left from the original layout . I agree, the layout is boring!

Mean Streak definately! It could easily be the tallest, fasteset, steepest, any other 'est out there, Hybrid. But i really dont see them doing this! I'd also like to see Topper Track on Shivering Timbers! Not going to happen, but that could really bump this coaster back up in the higher rankings.

GateKeeper looks like the better of the two! Ride experience, location, appearance, chain lift (finally)! I'm looking forward to a lot of rides on GK this season! I think i would rather go into FT's tunnel and not stop. The backwards launch just seems so out of place to me. The "WTF" moment of the ride. Thats a crap way at extending the ride time lol. I guess i can say the same about Maverick at CP. I love the ride, but to come out of that turn, hit the tunnel (and not slow down/stop) and GO like a bat out of hell would be awesome! It is what it is i guess.

Not sure how early entry will work with GateKeeper this year on opening day, since they will probably have some kind of ceremony and still have to do the "first rider auction" rides. Be prepared to not be able to ride right away, but you never know.

Any idea of when the event at Cedar Point will take place? And are these TPR club member only events, as in no other coaster clubs can attend?
