Hey guys! Planning a vacation back home to good ol' SoCal this November and wanted your thoughts as to when the best time to visit the most magical place on earth! I'm thinking the week of November - 7th - 9th actually - would be a good couple of days. Right after Halloween but not so close to schools being out for Thanksgiving. Thoughts? Even though I grew up rather close to Disney I didn't actually get to visit the park often (at all). So I don't really know the "sweet spots" of when to visit. Of course, soon as I move away, my family then decides to get season passes Also if you have any strategic plans of action as to where to stay for a night or two? We used GetAwayToday for our honeymoon a few years ago, which included park hopper tickets, and that was neat - but I'm all for saving some money where I can. Thanks all! Carry on.

M&D Scotland's Tsunami derails

Saw what happened on Twitter and then I saw that the park immediately made their Twitter private. Terrible what happened... and unbelievably scary! -
I went. The line to get in was absolutely ridiculous- I don't know if they had issues with the scanners or maybe didn't actually let anyone into the "holding" area until 2pm- but the line was all the way around to the bobsled. Of course, I wait in line- 20 minutes later we're at the "gates" where there is a space between the ticket booths and the actual line where cutters just walk right in and "funnel". But- that's six flags, right? Ive rarely ever see it at Disney, Universal, or Sea World. But six flags... all the time. Rant over. The crowds weren't bad at all, really- but I was with my 2 and 6 year old all by myself- so our rides never have waits anyway. But based on the food lines- it wasn't bad in the slightest. Snow Hill was the only wait- maybe 10-15 mins? We left around 6- so I didn't see the lights- I'll do that later this week when I have my wife with me and I'm not outnumbered. I didn't get to do Holiday in the Park last year because the crowds were unbearable. Literally walked in, processed my pass, and left because it was insane! I'm hoping today won't be crowded. Planning on being there right when they open so I can get a few rides in and finally ride Justice League! haha

I always thought batwing was in an awkward place. Is it possible they might remove some of the games near batman to make way for a flat? I never see anyone actually playing the games over there... at least whenever I was actually paying attention. LOL. I always thought they had too many game stations in the park anyway.

So they posted another teaser to their facebook page.... but WHAT DOES IT MEAAAAANNNN?????? I get the vibe that these teasers are filmed in the same area of the Runaway Mine Train heading toward the Oil Derrick/Shockwave area. But the subjects in the video seem to be looking in the direction of Mr. Freeze and Batman?? What are yall's thoughts?

I'm going to assume the park will be close to a ghost town (Pun MAY BE intended ). Schools just started not that long ago and it's a Wednesday. You should be golden! Have fun! Thanks, I went to magic mountain yesterday, and every ride wasa walk on so I'm hoping for the same at knotts Just in my experience - Knott's doesn't get nearly the same amount of traffic as SFMM. So, if SFMM was empty... you can almost bet all your money that Knott's will be as well.

Another thing I thought about the other day after riding aquaman... what if they painted the bottom of the "lake" thingy to make the water look more blue? The "lake" looks so dirty and not refreshing at all... lol! I know KBF does it and the water always looked so nice that you just wanted to jump in for a swim! Just a thought... I think it would really brighten up the area!
