Went to the park yesterday. Wasn't nearly as crowded as I thought it would be. Got to ride everything except skyscreamer and mr. freeze (my family is too chicken and the lines were long) I did notice the station to NTAG wasn't completely tarped off... only the opening where the train departs the station was blocked. Was it always like that or is this new? Saw some mechanics walking up the stairs to the station too but didn't stick around to see what they were doing. Hmmm... progress, perhaps?

Earlier this year I was at the park and was boarding Batman. My Fiance and I were in the front row and another couple sat in the two seats next to us. The man was larger... and literally, two employees were trying to push his shoulder restraints down to a safe level for him to ride. When they failed, they asked him to step to the side so they may seat him in another row (I guess the middle seats have more room - if that's what I heard correctly.) The man was all PO'd because of it. I remember thinking to myself "dude - it's for your safety!". SMH...

Reports on twitter say that her restraints came undone... I thought that was nearly "impossible" if the train leaves the station? Or did I hear that incorrectly? If her restraints did come undone, wouldn't the seat next to hers come undone too? Forgive me. Not as "techy" when it comes to coasters like you fine knowledgeable people.

Uh, don't get me wrong guys but...if you don't feel safe and only clicked once, wouldn't common sense tell you to push it down more so you are secure? Does NTAG's restraints allow for further pushing down once locked? Every ride I've been on allows for further tightening..which typically happens a lot during mid ride via forces. I've also 'stapled' myself when going up the lift when I felt it was necessary... NTAG is not a coaster I'd mess around with a single click on. I was always able to push my restraints down more even after they were "locked". Heck, even going up the lift hill I would push it down just a bit more since gravity helps at that point (and I like being squished into my seat). The clicking part didn't make sense since the restraints are so smooth and quiet... but usually the employees there help me push the restraint down if I request it. Story doesn't really add up.

Thinking about going to the park late this afternoon (around 3 or so). Any guesses as to how busy the park might be? It IS Cinco De Mayo... and the park closes at 7 I believe? AND there's a Rangers game. LOL! Haven't been to the park since January (even then, we didn't go on anything - it was so packed!)

I think I read a few posts back about the all day unlimited refill wristband, if I'm not mistaken... This is gonna sound EXTREMELY nerdy... but I actually suggested that idea to the managers of the park when I spoke with them on the phone over my feedback I gave the park (I had trouble with an employee there back in September). Now, I can't take ALL the credit for this since I'm sure others have brought it up... but I totally said to the managers "I love the all day refills the day of purchase of the souvenir cup - but at this point I buy one EVERY TIME I go to the park because it's a super great deal. I have a huge collection of cups! Ya'll should offer a wristband to purchase that gives you the same perks so I can just bring my cups from home". They thought it was a great idea apparently... LOL! I'm super excited!!! -End-

At the park today. I actually really like the new loading system for giant. It was very easy to understand and we were out of the station real quick. Line was fast moving as well. I enjoy the pockets on the rides too! It's nice to have when you only bring a phone, keys, and wallet. Park was empty today, which is nice! Giant had a short wait. All other rides seemed like walk ons. I can't wait until Gotham city is open again! No update on skyscreamer other than they put a fence around the area. But I didn't see anything different from the pic I posted a few weeks ago. That's my report for today! Lol.

Being from SoCal, I know when I was growing up I wasn't allowed to SFMM because of "dangerous crowds". I finally went to SFMM back in 2009 with coworkers and I enjoyed my time there. But, really, no matter where you go you do have the chance of sharing the park with obnoxious, stupid crowds. I still see them here in Texas at SFOT. lol!

One of my concerns is employees checking children's heights for the ride too. I hope employees check all heights of kids before letting guests enter the ride. I've witnessed a ton of kids getting on a ride at SFOT and having the dispatch process stop because they had to pull a kid off the ride to double check their height. Does this new loading system get rid of the employee at the bottom of the stairs too? Last several visits to the park, that one employee at the bottom of the stairs wasn't very efficient in my opinion. They just kind of sat there and let guests pile onto the stairs and loading station... P.S. I guess this new process screams "if you get on, you're riding!". lol! I've seen so many people get on NTAG and cry to get off because their too scared to ride.

If you told them you were a 22yr old female with a photo, you probably have a good chance as that's kind of a rare thing in this business! I sure did! Haven't received a reply yet. Hope I do this week! -
