  1. So a LIM is essentially the same thing but is only "magnetised" when power is applied. And why can't LSMs launch straight out of the station and LIMS can. I read somewhere that the train has to be moving for LSMs to launch. Is this true?
  2. I wish more modern coasters had those sort of things. Very good boredom-killers while in the queues. Thank you for that. I hate to be the guy who asks a million questions. But does anyone know the difference between LSMs and LIMs?
  3. I didn't know where else to post this since this seems to be the best place. www.thecoasterguy.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2012/04/SFMM_SEFK_13.jpg ^Can anyone decipher this blurry image? I'd really like to know what it says. It will be greatly appreciated if you can.
  4. Glad to hear this park is still open. I wish Holiday world would've bought out Kentucky Kingdom and then bought CLP. Then transfer the rides to CLP. One can dream.....
  5. www.latimes.com/travel/deals/themeparks/la-trb-cedar-point-magic-mountain-7201125-pg,0,4833394.photogallery I was intrigued for the most part. -Agree with everything except for 8 and 10. -11 and 13 are outdated. -Everything page 13 and beyond made absolutely NO sense This guy..........
  6. maXair and Black Widow = Best Flat Rides. no question. (Skyhawk included )
  7. Everyone I've heard get the gold says they get rides just as fast as the platinum, the only difference with the platinum is the reride. (And I believe you need the platinum to buy the $10 X2 line skips) $10 line skips? Kennywood: Magic Mountain
  8. This may sound drastic. But Maverick should have FL for every 5 trains. The same should be done with other coasters, ever X number of trains should allow some FL users.
  9. It would be more of a water-ride credit than anything.
  10. Such wild rumors. This coaster turned out to be a complete opposite of all the wild rumors. Just another coaster thrown together for MM's bragging. Seems like maverick never had nothing to worry about.
  11. Yes, yes, and more YES! Although this most likely will turn into another coaster NOT utilizing their terrain to the fullest . It's going to be here and run south-north, calling it! *sarcasm* It's more of a camelback than anything else. But isn't a top hat entered vertically, curved apex. and exited vertically? I't "looks" as if the entrance and exits of the "top hat" do just that.
  12. Not sure why you'd include this one as Full Throttle's loop is 160'. That list is the current rankings as of 2012. Untill the loop is actually constructed these records still hold. Right, but if you're gonna call out their marketing team on stuff, don't call them out on the one thing they actually CAN lay claim to fame. I was pretending to take on the roll of the marketing team and that would of been the result of my research....

  14. A suspended flying coaster. Arrow and B&M had a child..... This could be a fun family attraction.
  15. Since the marketing team can't do there homework, I'll just clear this mess up Worlds Tallest and Fastest Roller Coaster with an Inversion: Eejanaika 249', 78 m.p.h. *Worlds Tallest Roller Coaster with a Vertical Loop: Viper 188' Worlds Tallest Vertical Loop: Superman: Krypton Coaster 145' Worlds Fastest Roller Coaster with a Vertical Loop: Superman: Krypton Coaster and Viper 70 m.p.h. *I do not count Wild Eagle as being 210' simply becuase it dosen't actually come anywhere near 210' off the ground. There's maybe a 140' foot viod between the track and ground at most. I classify it more as the "heighest" wing coaster. Just my 2c.* The marketing team can't handle this much research apparently. "Worlds Tallest Vertical Loop" seems to be much more clear.
  16. That a nice recreation, very good use of CS. I will try and incorperate some of those techniques into this recreation. And I'm undecided to split the park up into 2. One file would be everything but frontiertown, and the second would be frontietown only. Mini Update. What's to come. Currently working on the Dragster Midway. About 40% through. Backround: Maggie and her station, with Corkscrew and non-cs supports. *Had to use some CS for dragster station. Nothing in-game would suffice. * Me attempting a skyline shot
  17. It's a very modest experience, but STEFK is much more exhilarating! Don't really see why it's necessary....... "i think the only reason they threw that section in there was to be able to say "the ride goes backwards"" -coasterboy600 -YouTube- ^Yep, seems legit.
  18. ^^ SFMM must have finally got that the number of coasters dosen't really effect anything. Every other amusement park is eveidence of that.
  19. Exactly. Manta, Intimidator 305, Cheetah Hunt, Skyrush etc.
  20. I like how my comment from Yesterday is now magically deleted. Oh well, I'll just say it again "Luminosity 2" Really like the Luminosity, wonder how this will differ and what kind of shows there will be
  21. I don't think it's a HUGE dissapointment. It's still a good coaster, maybe try lowering your expectations next time. This is Six Flags.
  22. This looks really fun. The Vertical Loop is nothing special though (rode one, rode them all). All those banked turns look fantastic , lot's of headchoppers, and the Dive Loop is nothing short of sexy. That looks like a really good transition, especially when darting right into a black hole (tunnel). I hope MM has some good effects in the tunnel, fog seems a bit bland, but will only add to the experience. The backwards launch dosen't seem like much of a thrill (S:TEFK) , however the back seat may tell a different story .That top hat seems to have that potential "AIR-TIME" everyone's been complaining about. The ride seems to end abrouptly though. Very good ride nonetheless. PS. It now seems as if MM is just building for bragging rights now......AND that video was full of False Advertising. It's just the worlds tallest vertical loop... PPS. "YOLO!" My "potential" favorite new 2013 coaster list so far... 1. GateKeeper 2. Outlaw Run 3. Iron Rattler 4. Gold Striker 5. Full Throttle....they could of done so much more with it. Pocky 2.
  23. This thing looks INSANE! R.I.P. Pocky. Seems to carry some serious g's and speed throughout the ride. I'ts like a condensed version of the Voyage. They just took all the good forcefull parts from that coaster and brought it to CGA
  24. Thanks That area is 90% differenet now. However, the size of the custom scenario (max-size) would make it hard to include said area(in its full extent) if I wish to Include Mean Streak( ). I will Try though.
