  1. I went with Outlaw Run! How could you not?! Its all wood, has an amazing drop, sweeping curves, airtime, banked turns, and is fast! Oh and did i mention it has 3 inversions! This thing is an a$$ hauler and it also has terrific scenery! iRat looks tremendous as well, but anything with Outlaw in it, goes to Outlaw!
  2. Thats funny! It is indeed an awesome looking coaster! Would love to experience it someday
  3. Well Gravity Group is re-making Hades 360. Thats still wood, And i remember an interview from IAPPA with GCI, where they said the Millennium Flyer trains are and have been capable to handle an inversion
  4. Great catch! Cant wait to see the ride open up!
  5. While i think Yolo is going to be good since its a Premier, i appreciate Gatekeeper more. Cedar Point went above and beyond in order to fit Gatekeeper in and they used all the land they could scrap up. Then SFMM had all that potential, and YES i still think Yolo looks good, but i just think that SFMM didnt put as much effort and thought into the coaster as CP did. Right now i give it to Gatekeeper!
  6. The worlds first element is a vomit catcher infront of you on the train
  7. I think its photoshopped! There is no way that its real No but it honestly looks wonderful! GCI always puts together a great ride
  8. What is the most intense part of Flight Deck? It seems that last corkscrew is crazy! happy anniversary!
  9. I would think you only need 2 trains. When one finishes, the other will probably just be ready to leave the station since its a shorter ride. If there were 3 you would probably be just sitting there waiting on the brake run. I would think their plan is to consistently have a train coming and going out of the station. But then again, its SFMM, and hey, Yolo
  10. Thats good. I have been here 3 times and never have had an issue with rides being open, employes, ect. Its just an all around beautiful park! Heading back down next year!
  11. How was opening day? Were all the rides open?
  12. You honestly don't think they don't know exactly what forces this ride is going to pull? Exactly, they know what the forces will be. I honestly don't think it will be I305 intense G's, but it should nice! And i would think that with premier's train type it can make a sharp inversion like this one
  13. I think the backwards launch will be fine. I think an extra launch, and some hang-time is better than not. I agree it seems pointless, but hey, it just adds to the YOLO experience
  14. I like the idea of it "crash through a wall"
  15. They should be really neat trains, With that theme(of a gold mine)
  16. I figured out the YOLO! If your a lucky rider, the backwards launch will launch you all the way back through the dive, and all the way down to the bottom of the loop! That might actually be kind of cool (except for the fact you would be stuck) wonder if that would even be possible. I know with the launch system im sure it launches at almost the exact same speed everytime.
  17. Thats what i remembered, i was pretty sure they had said it will have lap-bars
  18. I thought all along Yolo would have lap-bars!? Guess it could still be up in the air...but like someone said above, i think shin and lap bars will work on this one
