Im not sure if this has been mentioned, but could the used coaster in question be a Vekoma giant INVERTED boomerang? SFStL could benefit from one of those, considering that the are relatively new and provide a great thrill on a small footprint. Only thing is there is only, I believe, three in the USA and one just got transferred from SFMM...

Whatever it is, it seems like it will be epic for a woodie. I'm personally excited because it looks like a top new coaster for 2013 will be right here in Missouri! As soon as they make the announcement I will be making plans to attend the opening or, hopefully, media day!

Will the new layout (going backwards) cause the parks to reevaluate the restraint systems? Is the ride still safe going into the vertical spike with only lap bars?

for research sake, I'm looking to go on the UK trip and was wondering, as far as the tour dates go, are the first and last dates travel days or should we research travel options one day before and after?

That's so true! They have plenty of room to build. But, the next thing I would like to see from SFMM is one or two state of the art flat rides. Something that no one has seen before! I love flat rides, especially Inverter @ Adventure Dome in Vegas. Also does anyone have suggestions for tackling the mountain on Sat? I will be in town for the weekend and plan on making a trip to SFMM. I wont be able to get there for opening, but i was wondering how the lines usually are in the evening and night on the weekends.

^ I asked the same question. Elissa told me that flights from your starting point are not included, but any flights that may occur during the tour are.

I will be @ SFMM on the 30th. I had a question on how accommodating Tatsu is, for larger guests, in comparison to Batman or Riddler. Any info on suggested rides or particular seats for larger guests would be greatly appreciated.

I have not been to SFMM since 2003 when Scream first opened. I was wondering if Revolution still has the lap-bars? I also wanted to know how accommodating is Tatsu as compared to Riddler or Batman?

I was just wondering if anyone knows if there are specific places that larger riders should sit on any rides at SFMM? Any response would be helpful.

This may have been asked already, but is this going to be a spinning wild mouse?? If so, I rode Spinning Dragons at WOF last summer and it was great! It looked tame from the Queue, but the ride experience was alot more intense than I thought it would be.

Regardless of the color scheme, I'm excited to see substantial work finally being done on site. I hope they can get it up in 2 and a half months. Besides I feel that the colors fit in with the name/theme of the coaster.

Personally, I'm excited about the new coaster at Knotts. I just hope that it's running when I come out there in August!!

I am cuurently attending lincoln University in Jefferson City, MO. I went to SFSTL and I must say that the 'Boss' is one of my favorite woodies in the US.

It seems like they are going to begin moving at a very quick pace. This is going to be really cool to watch over the next couple of months. I wonder if the lot for track storage has recieved any new peices with the moving of the others to the site???
