Just saw these guys today at King's Island. What a wonderful day, Fast Lane is well worth the extra money spent.

Wild One at Six Flags America, originally built in 1917 at Paragon Park. 95 yrs old. Jack Rabbit at Kennywood, built 1920. 92 yrs old. Thunderbolt at Kennywood, built 1924 88 yrs old. Big Dipper at Geauga Lake, built 1925 87 yrs old. Racer at Kennywood, built 1927 85 yrs old.

What about the train?

Looks like the train colors will be brown....IW's trains are silver but of course they could repaint them & the track color appears to be a yellow/orange color.I really wonder now that I think about it if those are the train colors on GA scorcher? of course they could just use that ride's photo in the marketing hints kinda like they used a shot of Medusa east back in 02 for Scream's announcement. If one looks REALLY closely at the coaster, just below the tracks, one can see sparks flying. Also, the color of the track and trains appears to be made to look like rusted metal. Or at least the hot, slightly glowing metal you see in STEEL MILLS plus the "project 12" which most likely means 2012, is located in a buzz saw shaped sircle. Looks like they're either going with an industrial theme, or an apocalypse theme due to it being 2012 (a year which has apocalyptic overtones to ancient civilizations). So excited to find out!

Just got read from their facebook page. "I know everyone's been burning to find out what's coming to Six Flags America next year... Well if you can stand to wait just a little bit longer, I'll be posting some hints within the next hour!!!" So lets see the clues. Standing (well duh) and "BURNING" to find out. Hmmm....

I really hope it goes with a pirate theme. The skull seems like a pretty obvious reference to a certain past ride, maybe it will include water effects/fountains where Skull Mountain's pools used to be.

http://www.facebook.com/SixFlagsAmerica Iron Wolf is REALLY Coming!!! I am just happy SFA is FINALLY getting a "new" coaster. Plus, strangely, that teaser doesn't really look that apocalypse-y. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Rumor has it that Wolfie will receive new trains, so that should really ease up on the roughness. It's actually got a really good, tight layout. It just needs A LOT of TLC.

1. King's Island- Grew up going there, TONS of childhood memories, a great collection of coasters, absolutely GORGEOUS landscaping and topography, and some of the nicest staff and best customer service of any CF park I've been to. 2. Kennywood- Once again, great use of the topography, extremely clean, great atmosphere, my personal coaster love (classic woodies), and EXELLENT customer service. 3. Holiday World- Need I say more? 4. Geauga Lake- A great amusement park with a beautiful setting. Shame that it's gone. 5. Waldameer- What this park lacks in size it makes up for in pure fun and great customer service. Ravine Flyer II is hands down one of the best woodies in the WORLD. 6. Six Flags America- That's right, I went there. 7. Cedar Point- Great collection of coasters, but the worst customer service and most overpriced of any park I visited. I'm talking approaching Fuji-Q levels of bad. Extremely hot, humid, busy day. (ON A WEDNESDAY?) They were running ONE TRAIN on MF when there was a 2 hour, 45 minute wait. 1000% Humidity and 98 degrees outside.

Now that it's nearly if not already confirmed that Iron Wolf will be heading to SFA, I'd say that park now has at least a pretty good variety of coasters. A classic out and back, a GCI Woodie, a Premier Catapult, a Vekoma Flying Dutchman, an Intamin Hyper, an SLC, and now a B&M Standup (albeit a 2 decade old one). It just needs a few more flats and, hopefully new, more comfortable Georgia Scorcher-style trains for IW. There's still a lot of potential for this park. MAYBE they could get some of the newer style trains for Mind Eraser and Millennium Flyers for ROAR!, though I doubt it. I hope all things go well for SFA.

If (or maybe I should say when) Iron Wolf goes into that spot between Wild One and ROAR!, SFA is going to look a lot like an American version of Nasu Highland, except the coasters won't be in technicolor.

Yeah, it actually did look impressive when it was indoors. Must have been very interesting to watch when it was in operation!

The Pipeline coaster actually did come to fruition at a remote little amusement park in Kuwait of all places, however, it is the only currently standing one and SBNO at that.

Completely agree on this. Once again, the dang locals got involved, which typically falls in their favor. Seriously, if you don't like living near an amusement park, MOVE. Here are some plans for the ride.
