  1. Does anybody have any advice for a trip here. I will be taking my first trip to the park this year probably during Columbus day weekend. I'm really looking forward to it. I just hope i305 is back up by then. But is there any like time saving tips or ride tips?
  2. Honestly, while I am hoping for a coaster for 2014 I think a drop tower would be perfect. It would be something different than the usual elimination of flat rides. In fact I think they might finally be making a comeback. Drop towers are always park staples.
  3. Arrow coasters are my #1. GASM was my first arrow and my favorite coaster when I first started riding. It broke my heart to see my favorite coaster die. I didn't get to ride another till vortex last year. It is truly the perfect coaster. It has airtime, intensity, hang time, and it's honestly not bumpy, especially for an arrow. I worry about how long the coaster has left though. Last year somehow I got to go on a personal backstage tour with Mr. Jeff Gramke of the parks management. I asked him how long he thought the coaster had left. He said it has awhile as the steel is holding up wonderfully for its age. I just hope it lasts long enough for me to get back there. VORTEX #1
  4. Actually I was there last week and the line completely filled up the switchbacks, but then again lightning racer had a line to the enterance.
  5. I was also wondering how to get the most out of my day when I go. I am going to the park in a few weeks. I really want to ride everything, including skyrush, but I am probably not going to get to the park until about 11 and I'm not really sure how to go from there. Any advice?
  6. With Skyrush now open Hershey is honestly one of my favorite parks, but looking back and seeing how they seem to put in a coaster every 4 or so years makes me wonder... When the time does come in a few years for their next coaster, is there any space left in the Park? If you look at it basically all the useable land is being used now. I know parks have jammed coasters in before, but I don't see how they will be able to fit any more major additions.
  7. Cool, hopefully the line won't be bad when I go. I got to ride Kings Islands windseekeer on its opening day only by chance.
  8. Hello, I am new to theme park review, but I have followed the thread since I was little. I have spent much of my life being amazed by roller coasters. Great Adventure is my home park and has brought me many wonderful memories. I was wondering, as I am heading to the park in a week or two. How does the Skyscreamer compare to a windseekeer as so far I have only been able to ride one of those and I would like to know if the Skyscreamer is worth riding as I found the windseekeer very enjoyable.
