It was only running 2 trains on Friday from 2:45-5:45 when I rode it. I seemed to always ride the orange train. That screeching sound before the high 5 seemed really loud. I wonder how often they have to change the wheels or polish them. On busy days I live by the single rider line even when I am with someone if the normal line is over a half hour(excluding Tatsu and X and Full Throttle.) Really looking forward to the single rider especially more so that there is no preferred seating. I asked an employee if I could wait for the front or back and they kept saying sorry no preferred seating which is understandable. One lady I rode next to said she only has a regular season pass and they let her thru. The first time I went passed the barrier he checked that I had a season pass for a couple seconds. The second time I went in there he didn't even care. Just saw that I had a card and said ok. Wonder how many of those in the half hour wait really only had gold passes. Just curious how were the waits of Tatsu, X and Full Throttle and even Superman today? Of course busy because it's Saturday but curious how they will be even during the week compared to Colossus. I'll find out Tuesday when I go. Soon school is getting out so everything will always have a line. But if those big rides are less than 30 minutes while Colossus is an hour+ i'd love that(for the other rides).

Yeah I wonder the facts about the person. Can't judge without knowing more. I have yet to ride this back to back with no recovery time yet so it could make me dizzy but I mean even just going on some rides once I get a little dizzy. Haven't yet. 3 out of 5 rides dueled almost perfect for me. One of them I was halfway up the lift on the green side when the blue came up flying and met even just at the very top. One of the times we didn't duel it didn't on either side. The other time the blue train made it to the bottom of the lift as the green was in the middle but it didn't go very fast to catch up, I think because the green just passed the certain sensor and then the green sped up a little to go on without it. Dueling makes it way better. I wonder if this ride will ever be a walk-on(during the week). Of course no time soon but maybe in the off-season on a weekday and rainy day. But looking forward to this ride taking people from X and Tatsu and making them shorter. Tatsu always seems to be around the 45 minute mark whenever I go. If it can get to 20-30 minutes i'd love that. Looks like you can go left now when the park opens and get some rides on X alot easier now.

I could see this happening. Rides intense, even for a veteran like me. Hope opening day was a gas! Love the ride, but kinda surprised at someone passing out. I could see because of excitement and how great the ride is or shocked at what the coaster just did but not because it is so intense. I rode it 5 times in a row Sunday with the line being 15-25 minutes long. I didn't once think after riding that I am getting nauseous or dizzy I better stop. To me most of the other coasters are more intense and make me nauseous after a few times and I never get sick. This coaster is a different type of fun. By the way I sat in rows 5 twice, 6 twice and row 9. Going to go get some more rides in early Tuesday morning. I want to see how it is in the very back and front. The very first time I had my seatbelt too tight and the bar tight that when I loosened the belt and bar the times after it was so much better feeling every air moment as i was flying all round the seat. Make sure you leave some room for your belt and bar people!

Looks like Xcelerator is open again a week earlier than it said it would be on the website. And ghost rider will be down for over 2 weeks. Can anyone confirm this?

LOL us californians panic when it rains. When it drizzles here there are severe thunderstorm warnings and get notifications on tv when it barely rains. We aren't used to anything other than sunshine lol. A few months ago there was a severe tornado #6 highest level warning..turned out it barely drizzled or had very light wind.

Yikes! It was supposed to come back up yesterday, but I figured they just kept it closed because of the weather. Ghost Rider was supposed to go down for this coming week, but it looks like they decided to wait on that until Xcel goes back up. Was it down for scheduled maintenance in the first place or why? And why now another 2 week delay. This is California, it barely rained. There is no storm coming lol. It was scheduled to be down from April 14-24. Xcel goes down in even light rain, because wet track = rollbacks. I haven't found anyone who knows exactly what the deal is... apparently, it went up for a little while today and then back down. Well I totally understand today because it rained Saturday and it might have still been not completely dry. But why not open it Monday or this week as the forecast is very warm and why close it all the way until the 9th is what i'm wondering. I'm going tomorrow most likely, just bought a season pass. I'll just go back when it reopens. I've never been on it and that's the ride I want to go on the most. But i'll just get alot of ghost rider rides tomorrow. Six Flags is my home park but I haven't been to Knotts in so long it's time. I'll ask why it's closed tomorrow see if I get any details.

Anyone go to Knotts in the past couple weeks? I am planning on going on a weekday. But I noticed on their website knotts.com under roller coasters it said that Xcelerator was closed until 4/24. Now it says May 9. Can anyone confirm that the ride is down. Is it a maintenance issue...scheduled or something went wrong? Is this normally the time they do it scheduled yearly?

sure is slow in here right now... Anyone going to the park on Sunday? I plan to to get my new gold pass for next year. I went last Sunday and wondering how dead it will be. I'm not thinking it will be dead but it should be slow and for sure alot slower than Fright Fest.

On a normal Sunday Id agree with you, but on bring a friend day we shall see. Tatsu can certainly vary, especially if the ops are on point. There has been 5 days before this coming bring a friend on select Sundays so i'm sure alot of people used it already. I have been 7 times since the end of March all on weekdays purposely since I hate waiting in line. But i'll take a shot at it this Sunday. Does anyone use the Ride Hopper App that you can download on phones? I used it the last time I was there. Would be cool if more of us did that so we can see how long the lines are just by going on your phone.

Almost went on Sunday...glad to see it was slow. I am going this Sunday most likely and will use that bring a friend which has 9/23 as one of the days. It shouldn't be that much more crowded because of the selected free day since there have been days before that people could have used it right?

Just got it. I start a new job Thursday so can't go during the week anymore. I have only gone during the week in all 7 times going this year. Glad to see it was dead last Sunday. I'll be going on Sundays from now on and Friday after work for Fright Fest. That's awesome it's open until midnight.

The Venom Drop Tower was closed on the 30th went I went as well. That day a lifeguard said she was being honest in saying they are closed because of lack of employees.

Was at the park on Friday and saw a couple workers and some wood in the spot of the future coaster.

Was at the park today. Everything was a walk on, if not it only had a few train wait. Saw some people outside X early on filming a commercial. Rode Lex Luthor 3 times in a row with only a 1 train wait. Amazing view up there!
