  1. There is motorcycle parking after the parking toll booths on the right side together with the RV parking before you go into the regular parking. I have a motorcycle and I rode there quite a bit on my bike and parked in the Marie Calendars parking lot before I realized they had that shaded area for motorcycles.
  2. lol yeah. Honestly didn't care because it was hot. Wanted the ice mostly instead of just drinking from the water fountain.
  3. Parking was by Scream late in the day. Got in line for TC at 11:15. Line was 35 minutes. Dueled on one side by half a train, we were on the right side and couldn't catch the other train all the way. Rode it again right after no dueling. 3rd time was in the afternoon. Line slightly out the station. Sat in the last row and was the best ride of the day by far. No dueling. we were about 5 minutes from boarding when the train in the station had problems with the restraints I believe and maintenance was called. I remember seeing the main mechanic during the opening weekend preview day. There were 2 mechanics with another joining late. I think a 15 minute delay about. Right after they fixed the issue the ride ops were noticeably hustling including one jogging to get the train out fast because it was their chance to get dueling on track. The first few dispatches dueled. By the time I got on, the train before me had a person being slow and that we didn't get to duel because of that. By the time we got to the lift the other train was at the top. Lex Luthor was closed all day. Tatsu I think was running both sides but by the time we went thru the bottom queue around 5:30 the other side was empty and only one side was running. Also first time I asked for water having the red souvenir bottle and I went to the ice cream place between Apocalypse and the go carts and the guy charged me $1.08. Later asked for water at the food place across from Goldrusher and she said water is free. Apocalypse had 1 train so didn't ride.
  4. Anyone know why Tidal Wave says closed on the six flags app? Going to the park today. Update later.
  5. As much as I am disappointed at the single rider line closing which I use that on all the other rides all the time, that is great news about the elimination of the grouper and assigned seating. I hate assigned seating. I can see the need for the person at X to make sure people use the storages but let us choose where to go!
  6. yeah I thought tsunami soaker was going to be a joke of a ride, then I finally actully went on it and it was fun. Best way to be drenched at SFDK, even more so then standing on the bridge of moonsoon falls. People in So Cal hate getting wet on water rides. It's a phenomenon I can't quite explain, but anything beyond a gentle spritzing will actually lead to guest complaints. lol Alot here in Cali freak out when it rains. Seems like everytime it rains it's breaking news on the news channels and a warning gets sent out of flash floods etc. I remember months ago there was a stage 6 tornado warning...it ended up barely sprinkling.
  7. Anyone else really think Tidal Wave needs a revamp? Especially SFMM being so hot and having just Roaring Rapids to get you wet and Jetstream slightly. You don't get wet on Tidal Wave besides on the bridge. I remember a long time ago you used to actually get soaked on Tidal wave, why did they change that? The drop has to be longer and a higher degree because it is very outdated. Here are some pictures I googled that look cool if they could combine some of these elements. Maybe make it a coaster too with some turns then finishing into the water or something like Xcelerator but of course smaller that ends in the water? I know the space is limited and water and Xcelerator don't mix but I think they can do something exciting to upgrade it.
  8. Not much testing before opening huh... They should already order replacement chains for TC and have them here in storage, not oiled up of course. If one chain goes the whole ride is done. At least we can safely assume RMC isn't going bankrupt anytime soon.
  9. Wow, Thursday seemed like a great day to visit and makes me want to go even during the summer. I think on days where they do a great job we should go leave compliments in guest relations or to any lead employee there and tell them we will be back very soon just because of the great operations today! Maybe if enough of us do that that will see that if they care about us we will come back more. Interesting why the 10:10 early entry instead of 10:20? That's cool. and wow 5 minute waits on TC and even only 20 minutes for regular standby? Awesome.
  10. Tatsu running both stations? Nice to hear. Always surprised when I hear that.
  11. only 10 minutes for Tatsu, X2, and Superman in the summer? Wow you got lucky.
  12. Commercials? That's what I was thinking, they probably did it so they can make money from advertisements.
  13. Wow. I wonder why now and not when it opened. Have they added tv's later after opening before? Things like this put a smile on face.
  14. Are you joking? They are looking at this website for advice? lol.
  15. Are the trains in heavy rehab because of how rough the ride has become?
  16. I'm a SFMM regular and after riding Jet Stream at SFMM so much and not going to Knotts for 13 years, when I rode it again last month I loved it also. It is so smooth vs the edges where in jet stream you are banging against each side the whole ride and that ride has no theme. Love the dark ride.
  17. I'm just saying i'd love that one day. TC will definitely hold its own for a while. I loved 325 the second I saw it's video near it's opening day. If anywhere SFMM can do it. Obviously most likely in 2 years. Like I said earlier i'd actually prefer a metro over anything next. And I just made the comment after doing the survey...anything but something that loops next please! We have so much loops.
  18. Why is this obvious, is there really no more room for a ride such as this? How do you know this for sure? Do you just assume the park must do that and they would not be able to figure out how to get a big ride like that in there anywhere? Please.... let's NOT go down the "park is out of room" road....again! Oh no they can sure make ways to put it. Just don't want a small tiny version just to fit in a spot like FT. They can do alot more but we all know how MM works.
  19. I'd love a giga like fury 325 Any possible ways it could get to SFMM. Obviously a ride has to be taken away for space, but i'd love a long ride with no brakes.
  20. Just saw Jurassic World today...some of the rides in that movie are cool and one of the ride operators is funny. The main street in the movie was filmed at the old Six Flags New Orleans. And reminds us of SFMM, wanting the next bigger, faster, scarier ride.
  21. Exactly what i'm thinking. As much as the need for a flat ride not a loop! I did the survey and got the loop and left avg comments about it. A dark ride would be great but not like what Iron Reef at knotts. Something indoors and interactive that's more than a little kids ride. Or re-vamp Tidal wave and make it a steep big drop that you actually get wet on. I prefer a metro for transportation over anything.
  22. That is shocking to hear. Awesome! I noticed today on the ride hopper app the wait times are unusually shorter for a Sunday. People staying home watching the NBA Finals? How were the duelings when you rode single rider?
  23. Last I heard a couple weeks ago was it was thought to be fixed by mid June
