I'm curious as to why the VR to this ride. Wasn't the point of the new trains is to make it faster. How can you follow a story, watch video or shoot objects if you are going so fast. Did they test out the new train and see it wasn't much better than the old version so needed to add the VR or people would be upset? Not complaining, just thinking. Of course the young crowd will love it.

lol my lens were dirty, I realized it afterwards. Plus it was cloudy and rained later in the day so not much sunlight. it drizzled from around 3 pm or so then the last hour of the day it was coming down and I bought my first ever poncho. Only $2 compared to MM's $7 or whatever it cost. I was shocked it was only $2. Great Deal.

In my experience they're always open later. Just know that the chicken dinner restaurant is currently shut down until springtime for a complete overhaul. They are still selling Chicken in a temporary new building, walked out of the park today after 6 and lots of people in there. Rained the last hour 1/2 of the day today, happy ponchos are only $2 there compared to what $7 at SFMM? Rapids was closed, as well as M. Revenge.

i know they are out for dining pass holders. i didn't think they were selling them on their own yet though. i'm not 100% sure though. They were selling them at the twisted witches location on Friday. The person in front of me asked to buy a green bottle. The person working said they did not have the green, but the blue was good the rest of this year and next. Thanks for that, i'll buy the blue today instead of bringing my red 2015 bottle.

I just bought the Gold Pass Membership(the $5.99 one). I've had a gold season pass the last 3 years but nice to know I will forever have free parking and hurricane harbor without having to find the right time where six flags offers the buy 2 or 4 passes together to get the free gold upgrade and that I don't even have to get it processed every year. To not have to worry about that again is great. I would have bought the gold season pass dining because I am planning on buying the season sports bottle anyway so really $64.99(the $20 subtracted for the bottle) for season eating is a deal compared to last years $99.99. Just low on money right now that I can't do that. But good deals.

That's cool about the Ride wait times. I check the Ride Hopper app when i'm at the park but not many people use it plus its 99 cents now. I'm surprised MM wants to do this. Why would they want to show off their lack of ride operator skill and care for making the line move fast lol. They are happy with constantly showing Tatsu is 45min-1 hour running only one side always? Or Apocalypse being an hour 1/2 because only 1 train is working? Or Superman is only running 1 side when they can run two. Interesting. You would think they wouldn't want to do that.

Went to Knotts today. Got there a little after 11. Rode Ghostrider for the first time in 13 years in the very back row. Rode it 4 times total. 2nd time was in the very front. After the first 2 rides it didn't feel that bumpy as everyone says it is. But the 3rd time in the middle was out of control rough to where I had to hold on for my life. 4th time in the very back and it was rough also. It's like Apocalypse at MM but with more drops plus the lame mid course brake. The roughness just sucks because you can't really put your hands in the air the whole ride, you have to hold on so you don't hurt yourself. Still definitely rideable but after the renovation, if it's smooth that will be amazing. I totally forgot how this ride was for not riding it for so long. I hope they get rid of the mid course break when they renovate it because it's like Apocalypse with drops and it'll be back to world class. I love how long it is. Xcellerator was 15-20 min wait. Rode it 3 times. Longest wait was Bigfoot Rapids at an hour when I got on it about 3 pm. I rode it again 3 hours later with a few minute wait. Only one train...Does this always have one train? Last time I went in May I thought they had two. There was no train in the storage track but I thought I saw wheels and parts on the ground over on that side. Horrible ops on Boomerang there was at first 3 people but right after I got in line it became just 2, one guy in the control booth and one lady that had to check BOTH sides herself. First time on Iron Reef. Love the air condition in the queue. Short tv introduction story. Never tells you what we have to do until we are on the ride and start shooting. Half hour wait. I rode Silver Bullet as the second ride of the day and walked on. Later on I went to check the line and it was by the entrance and noticed they put one train in the storage track.

I'm not psychic or anything, but I bet it is probably going to look like the other TC trains... But green. Just a random guess though. None of the TC trains are one solid color, it will be interesting to see if it's green and purple, green and blue, or green and orange. Exactly, I have been on it 10 times and I can't tell you which colors because it was hard to tell lol.
