  1. Wait, I'm just now reading the newest posts in this thread. What word is "noodle" censoring?
  2. That too. Like when you used to be able to see Hypersonic XLC from Grizzly at KD, this will bring back memories for people. Unfortunately, Skull Mountain was closed every time I went to the park while it was still there, so I never got to ride it .
  3. I think they might be leaving it there to keep the headchopper on Wild One. Just a guess though.
  4. People keep talking about how short it is, and I kind of agree, but i just showed the POV to my mom and she said, "Wow, it's a long ride!" The GP most likely won't realize how short it is because it will be such a thrill. Can't wait to ride!
  5. But that's true for all the older GCI rides that have been retrofitted with Millennium Flyer trains. But new trains cost money, and I rather like Roar even with the old trains (but I haven't ridden it in a few years). I just rode it on Monday and believe me, it hurts. A lot. It wasn't so bad when I visited a few years ago, but it has gone downhill quickly (no pun intended). It's never good to look at the onride photo and see yourself wincing in pain... Having ridden Wildcat at HP both before and after the retrofitting, I think that it would drastically improve Roar. Now that we finally got a new coaster, Millenium Flyers for Roar is the top of my list for SFA improvements for 2013.
  6. I think the problem lies mostly in the fact that it will not be running the most up-to-date trains available, and will instead be using the original trains. If they really wanted to do this thing right, they would get some new trains from B&M, which would hopefully get it running much better. However, we've seen SFA's problem with getting the right trains on their rides (*cough Roar cough*).
  7. This. I can't wait to see testing videos of this thing. Considering the speed at which I305 tears through its first airtime hill, and with this being smaller (relative to the first hill) than I305's, this has the potential for rediculous airtime. But, as others have said, there's no way to tell for sure until it opens. Oryp
  8. I was thinking the same thing. However, since it will simply be another way into and out of Comet Hollow, I don't think there will be too much traffic on it (except this year because of Skyrush). Oryp
  9. Today, SFAfans posted new pics of the construction. It's coming along quite nicely. Can't wait to ride this thing! The first drop and loop are complete! credit for photos goes to Mark Rosenzweig. Link to SFAfans thread: http://sfafans.com/showthread.php?t=6587&page=25 oryp
