  1. Roller Coaster - Stargate Dubai, UAE Here's a picture I took... Guess away!
  2. They just posted another picture of the lift hill to their Facebook. Picture is below. And also some amazing comments from the GP!
  3. *raises hand* Hopefully next week I'll be a little more into it. Not feeling too great today, but it was definitely an entertaining way to spend 2 hours.
  4. Alpine Bobsled at Great Escape -less than 100 feet -opened before 2000 -near Albany -used to be at SFGAdv/SFGAm -family ride EDIT - too late
  5. Granted, but there are no longer any year-round open parks. I wish Arrow was still in business.
  6. Granted, but the plastic melts instead. I wish Vekoma Boomerangs and SLCs were never created.
  7. I found it. http://www.menglianggu.cc/hsjq/2011/0815/137.html But I don't have the slightest clue what it's called. The site says 'Sounding Roller Coaster', but I can't find anything with that name.
  8. I'm not a genuinely racist person, but I found that hilarious lol The Arabic actually translates to "Can I blow this?" But depending on who you ask, 'blowing something', and 'blowing something up' can be two very different things.
  9. A number of GP in the comments are complaining that Flashback is the best ride in the park and that they should keep it, and get rid of Shockwave instead because it's a terrible ride.
  10. I have decided to start a thread, more or less, to make myself a little bit more known on the website. I've been a long time member of the Coasterdynamix forums, and Youtuber, but I haven't had much activity at all on these forums. This thread could include anything I feel like posting, it could have models I make, opinions about things, pictures of the day, videos I make, trip reports, really anything. I consider myself somewhat of a photographer, so I will include lots of photos, but I am not professional, so I don't have many perfect photos. Some of them are pretty decent, though. Since this is the start of the thread for me, why don't I start by introducing myself, huh? My name is Zach Clarke. I am 14, and currently in 8th grade. I am a very loyal season pass holder for my home park, Busch Gardens Europe. As of right this second, I have been on about 140 roller coasters, with my favorite being Bizarro at Six Flags New England. If I am able to work this thing correctly, there will be a picture of me below. Me in the Busch Gardens aviary, with one of the few birds that will not hurt me in any way.
  11. Most likely attending both days. One question, though: If I have a Busch Gardens season pass, would I still have to pay the full price ticket that includes addition into the park? Edit: not addition, admission. Jesus the spell check on IPods is annoying.
  12. SeaWorld Orlando for the Manta filming tomorrow!
  13. I don't post on these forums, but I thought it would be worth it to post on this particular one. I went to Give Kids the World a few years ago on a Make-a-Wish trip for my sister Mackenzie. She has a rare disease called MPS III. For the Make-a-Wish trip, we chose to go to Orlando, to spend a week at Disney World. We thought we would spend the week in some kind of on-resort hotel, but they sent us to this place we've never heard of called Give Kids the World. I knew nothing about it. Everything about that week at that place was amazing. The service, the people (they are all volunteers), everything about the place was just beyond amazing. They have free ice cream, entertainment, they've got a carousel for god's sake. Now, whenever we visit Orlando, we always go back to revisit some of the great memories we had there. The place is always growing, in just a few years they've gotten a new water-play area, and a new fully handicap-accessible playground, and new houses for the families to stay in. I promise you that this is the absolute-best place that Cedar Fair could be donating that money to. Everything that they do for the kids that go there is just pure outstanding. If you have any doubt about this place, send me a message, I WILL prove you wrong. I am not positive if I will be able to ride (if I do, I will ride at King's Dominion), but I am really hoping that I will be able to make it. It's a great way to spend the day, and an even better cause. P.S. I still have the GKTW Candy-Land board game that we received while we were there. If anyone wants to play me, I'm available!
