  1. Dueling coasters are a pain to make, you are right. I tried to make this dueling LIM coaster a while ago and it was a mess.
  2. **/***** This ride was very, very problematic. First, for a dueling coaster, there were too few dueling elements, and I usually forgot that the ride was dueling. On the technical side, the coaster was a mess. The ride was very rough, pumpy, and had too many unforgivable, major jerks. In the back car on the second track, the lateral g's were in red territory at least three times and neared unexceptable levels even more. On the supports, they were not cleaned up at all. Completely custom wooden supports are not expected, but your ride lacked sufficient lateral bracing. And there were sections of supports just dangling over track, and those sections should be removed, as they do not connect to anything, look messy, and serve no purpose whatsoever. It was a very creative effort though, and once you improve the technical aspect of your ride-making, your rides can be great.
  3. Usually, I have my supports auto-flanged and adjust what has been done to be more fitting to the ride, like fixing when a 20 foot single support has two flanges on it. I find that to be easier than doing everything by hand, so if I can get someone to help me out, which I did, I use the auto-flanging. If I had to, I would do it all by hand, but I don't have to.
  4. Much better. I like this ride. It's simple but unique.
  5. ^^The back spike supports look off. Those boxes shouldn't be empty. Why not add some diagonal supports in there to make it look fuller and more realistic?
  6. I've been working on this for some time. I'm happy with the color scheme, but can't come up with a decent name for it. Here are some quick stats: -4 inversions: Corkscrew, Batwing, Corkscrew -Top speed: 70 mph -Tallest drop: 150 feet -223 feet above water level at highest point. -Length: 6700 feet With it's 6700 feet of track, I would probably consider this a fantasy coaster, though I want my track style and supports to be as accurate as possible. So, here are some pictures of it. Any name suggestions? Any comments and advice on supports or track?
  7. Yeah. I'm really bad at naming things. I made a ride similar to this years ago, and I named it Rust (that one actually had a rust color). But it was terrible. I remade it once more, and it was still terrible. I liked the name Rust, and it was enough like the original Rust, so I kept it with this. But thanks for liking it.
  8. Still a work in progress. Anyone have any color scheme suggestions? Or name suggestions? Right now, all I can think of is "The Elements" and "Fjord-ish Coaster."
  9. Screenshots: So...enjoy! I will update this once it has been uploaded in the exchange section if anyone wants it.
  10. Rust3 Height: 139 feet Drop: 93 feet Length: 2394 feet Speed: 53 mph Inversions: 4 - Dive Loop: 77 feet - Zero-G-Roll: 68 feet - Immelman: 50 feet - Heartline Roll: 40 feet Top of Drop: 104 feet MCBR: 3 (108 feet, 67 feet, 40 feet) Tunnel I made this a while ago, but recently fixed a few of the supports. I use a Mac, so I can't use Newton or flange my supports. I'm going to be sending my track to someone soon to flange it, so I will upload it once that happens. In the meantime, here's a video and a few pictures.
  11. "Hi." My name is Ashton. I'm new to this site, but not new to the coaster community. I was a member on another theme park forum for a few years before leaving over differences (we were all d-bags, me especially). But, since getting into college, I found that I have absolutely nothing to do besides scholarships, and I got back into No Limits. So, since I have a bunch of projects I'm working on (two terrain Premier launchers, a Euro-Fighter, a terrain Mine Ride, a terrain Arrow hyper-looper, and a giga X-Car), I've decided to show them off and get some advice on them, since I've made only one ride in the two or three years I've been off of No Limits. And I figured I would do it here, since this site doesn't seem to be run by a bunch of religious nutjobs.
