  1. 2 hr wait on congo rapids at great adventure. the line was probably 100 feet long
  2. someone taking a s**t on air at alton towers
  3. I somehow doubt whatever info you're given will have any real basis in fact, especially since you appear to be seeking info for the purposes of posting it on the internet. Call it a hunch. Besides, everyone already knows Saggy Boobs: The Ride is coming in 2013. There's even a tagline: "Flash Pass has a whole new meaning!" Oh ya? You got me all figured out. Well, we'll just see then
  4. Well, goin to work at the mountain till 4. I'll try and ask around and find out more about the 2013 project
  5. Though, SFMM doesn't care about coaster enthusiasts because we're only a small percentage of park attendance and we try to spend the least amount of money. SFMM wants teenagers who would spend $100 on food (true fact). A giga would make the GP think of a "bigger Goliath" while a dive machine is very unique and can be record breaking. How about this: a Giga Dive Machine. Tallest Dive Machine, Fastest Dive Machine, and First of its kind in the West Coast. The GP doesn't care about length, they care about thrills. If 500,000 people that wouldn't of came to the park did cuz there was a new giga coaster, that would be close to $20,000,000 that they add. I know its not the most important aspect of the business but it does count. I think the GP would be impressed with a dive machine at first, but once they got off they could think it was too short. I don't see how everyone thinks they wont do it cuz of Goliath, just about every giga is accompanied by a hypercoaster because there at the most popular parks. If another giga IS built, where would it be, cuz all the parks who dont have a hyper TODAY sure as hell wont have the attendance to get a giga. Btw, I-305 had about three times the thrill factor that Griffon had.
  6. I think a giga would be much more fitting than a dive machine considering our longest coaster as of right now is Goliath (which isn't that long). I loved Griffon but it was way too short. The park already has enough coasters that rely solely on the drop, a long airtime filled giga would be perfect. Not to mention it would bring in way more coaster enthusiasts from around the country and maybe the world than a dive coaster would. Well, keep speakin your minds cuz I know Mr. Thomas comes on this website quite a lot to get ideas.
  7. I think Knott's will get the first before SFMM since Six Flags already spent tons of money on their new rides and Cedar Fair hasn't released anything big expect Leviathan. 2013 on the other hand is a totally different story, it could be either park for 2013. Ya, 2013. I work at SFMM and I've heard there getting an intamin giga in 2013. Frankly, I don't think Knotts has the room but I'm guessin their gunna get a ML for 2012-13
  8. Knotts is probably gunna get a Mega Lite. A lot of rumors are pointing at Magic Mountain gettin the first giga on the west coast
  9. Where do you get this information from. Just working at SFMM and hearing a rumor is just as reliable as talking to the Dippin' Dots guy. I am kind of trying to be the devil's advocate, though I do hope the rumors are true and it seems to be a good idea. The only problem is Goliath is already at SFMM which means putting a giga coaster in SFMM makes a little more sense than Leviathan at Canada's Wonderland. Plus Goliath has ZERO airtime....I'd say its way more realistic than Leviathan
  10. ^ They want to have the first giga on the west coast, plus the airtime would really complete the park
  11. The stations supposed to be between Deja vu's station and apocalypse. They said its gunna drop south, turn around at the border and then go behind apocalypse and turn around again. I'll try and keep everyone posted
  12. defunct Psyclone from magic mountain by far. when i first started workin there back in '02, I went on after work one night. Got a CRAZy whipwash and stiff neck and had to take 3 days off. Obviously the park didn't have a problem with me taking time off....
  13. I work at the Looney Tunes superstore and I've heard multiple rumors that a intamin giga coaster is gonna take deja vu's place in 2013. I really hope it's true and judging by who I've heard it from, it's very possible...
