The tallest in the world right now is at 390 feet so if they plan on having the tallest they might as well make it 400 or more. Out of the 3 locations I'm thinking they'll leave Laughing Dragon Pizza alone because they used it as a lunch room during the media day for S:EFK. If they don't open it to the public again they might just use it for that purpose from now on.
^ I don't know if it would've been weirder if she had a baby in the stroller. I think it would've been better. She was using that stroller like a walker/cart to hold things.
Oh man those people were so out of place... When I was waiting outside the Western Gate and saw this 70 year old walking up with a stroller I was so confused. There was this lady that was with them, she didn't seem as bad as the whole group but when she mentioned ACE Hal Eisner even kind of gave her a look.
^ Same here, rode it with him and another guy that I can't remember the name of then we left. I think we were the last ones at the park after media day. We stayed until 4:30 or 5.
Last year Green Lantern wasn't even announced until October and the ride didn't even arrive until February. Just wait a bit longer and we might hear something. They're going to do something even if it's not a huge ride or a coaster. I doubt they'll just leave empty space lying around for a year.
How fast do you plan on driving? Traffic will be going in the opposite direction so not much to worry about. I live about 12 miles south of downtown and I get to SFMM in about 45 minutes average. Then again I'm going 80 most of the way and hit 90 in some spots. There's usually traffic where the 5 and 14 meets but that's pretty much expected. There's light construction going on there right now and stupid people get into accidents.
You're in Vegas so you probably didn't see as many SFMM advertisements. Right around April every commercial pretty much mentioned "most coasters on the planet" and they had bold words on the screen to make that statement more clear. I didn't really care, numbers are just numbers and I don't think having one more than CP is that big of a deal but they hyped it up more than they needed to.
One can dream
I'm fine with a drop tower or whatever they have in mind. I'd like another coaster but don't really need another coaster to be a replacement. Still I don't understand why they'd make a big deal of having 18 just to lower their number back down to 17.
They aren't going to take Deja Vu out and not replace it with another coaster. They spent a decent amount of money this year just to theme everything and get the most coasters. Why would they just give it up after having the crown for only a few months. They've also been clearing out a small space behind Deja Vu so they'll have more space to work with. CoasterGuy has a few theories on his blog.
Whoever said we'll be done by October was right.
I wonder who painted that sign of The Flash's villains. I noticed nobody mentioned it but the group is called The Rogues. They probably won't even fix it because I doubt anyone even knows.
Too bad you didn't take a picture of the Plastic Man trashcan that would've made this TR so much better because people would ask why you took a picture of a trashcan.
