Are you sure? I'm willing to bet that Mondail cut them a VERY good deal to take a chance on building something like that, and buying FOUR of them in one go. I am absolutely CERTAIN though, if Cedar Fair wasn't happy with the product, they would NOT have purchased the other two. While the ride doesn't do much for me, to be honest, I do know people who are either so terrified by the height of it, they won't get on it, and I also know others who freaked out so much on the ride, they literally cried! (sorry, "wept") I see what you mean. Im sure they got a buy one get three deal The ride is sort of a bipolar reaction ride. On one hand you have the people who are deathly terrified the entire time, while on the other you have the people saying "biggest waste of 5 million ever."

Raptor is not going backwards. CP Confirmed it. It was a joke. Raptor would be very intense backwards though.

If you do get the chance, head to CP. Best location since it's right next to the water.

It's pretty pathetic that all of them (except Kings Island) have had major problems. It wasn't exactly a bright corporate move to build 4 prototypes of a ride never used before, all of them delayed, and then proceed to build two more. I'm just saying Funtime was the better choice then Monodial (which I had never heard of before they announced Windseeker). Sometimes prototypes can be a flop :/

What do you expect, it's not an Intamin. So it is actually going to be a thing called "open". It's nothing to do with down time, it just has an astronomically higher capacity. That's why there's never a line. Operations are very smooth and quick on Magnum. Plus many days, Millie only runs two trains.

I was anticipating the 400 ft star flyer that was originally in the plans till they suddenly switched to Monodial. Disappointed that it got dropped down to 300 instead :/ Like I said, it's a low thrill ride and isn't anything else. That being said, I never go on Windseeker if it's not a walk-on.

I honestly find the ride butter-smooth. Other than the final helix, it's a very enjoyable ride.
