  1. Just a little concept ride I created over the course of the past week:
  2. You're getting that Intamin Vibe, because of the Intamin trains on it haha. Look up Crossbow at Bowcraft Playland. This is definitely a Zierer track design, it's the little things that really give it the Zierer personality. Read the information I typed up about the ride, as much as I love Intamin they wouldn't have the sense to do some of that, for example; storing the trains off the tracks at night. Don't get me wrong I love Intamin but it's just not something they do.
  3. I have been working on a station for the ride, this is what I have so far!
  4. Ride Stats: Speed: 32mph Height: 39.25ft Manufacturer: Zierer Number of trains: 2 Trains: 16 cars, 2 persons per car; 16 riders per train Braking: Utilization of De-Engerized LSM's Other Facts: -3 trains total, 2 in normal operation -Trains colors are: orange, yellow, green. -Trains stored indoors at night, where the wheels will be off the track -5 blocks total -LSM brakes, with single clamp brakes on each block
  5. I went and checked it out, the creek has been drained, but I see no footers being poured.
  6. I will check this out soon guys, I will confirm, or discredit these rumors.
  7. I am glad I am not the only one! Since when does the lift hill go down o.O
  8. If you have an unload station back there, and you need to stop it before the train enter it, then it would not be possible. That's where the problem lies. The back brake would not be long enough. I used to be a supervisor at the ride, I personally have talked to people involved with the ride. The problem with it is the block is two train lengths long. Each block generally should be one and a half to two train long to safely stop the ride. If you add an unload station, now the block is the length of one train. Not nearly enough the stop the ride, and it does come around the turn with some speed. See here is the blueprints, I added in an unload station, the yellow is the length of one train. and no this is not an argument
  9. Yes the lift is a block, but when your lift runs at 18mph, it really doesn't count because you have less than 10 seconds to move forward. If you get what I mean?
  10. Wrong, you would not have enough blocks, the ride is actually so short on blocks, that the second train has to park on the back brake before the other can dispatch. I used to run the coaster, you cannot add an unload without modifying the existing layout. Also the transfer track is right in the way and would need to be re-done. The ride's brake that runs over Comet, is not a block, only the brake right before you enter the station is a block.
  11. For those of you who figured I was not done with it yet, you were correct. Since then I have finished the layout, and it needs some work smoothing out some parts. In the meantime here are some layout pictures!
  12. I made this, and figured I would share it
  13. I will vouch to say I am a team leader, or as we call them ride leads and this is only my second year. I can say that I am experienced enough to keep operations running smoothly and be ready for any situation. Age has nothing to do with anything
