Except with Banshee In all seriousness. This looks amazing and I can't wait to ride. Cedar Fair has done an amazing job with Kings Island. -

^ Good idea looking at Google Maps. But yeah, the Fast Lane entrance are definitely clearly marked, you shouldn't have any trouble with them. -
Robb, I'm loving the live feeds from the Magic Kingdom. I downloaded the app and followed TPR, but for some reason haven't figured out how to watch on the app so I can comment, etc. But I've been watching the live feeds on Twitter and have been enjoying them quite a bit! Making me excited for my upcoming trip... only problem is that it isn't until January.

Not aware of a map, but I'll try my best to help with what I can recall off the top of my head. I'll work my way down the list on their website and try to be as accurate as possible (Disclaimer: I've never used Fast Lane): Banshee - separate line at the entrance for Fast Lane (requires Fast Lane Plus), goes directly to station where employee assigns rows. The Beast - enter through the exit (requires Fast Lane Plus), path will take you up to the back of the station where an employee will let you in a gate. Firehawk - Sorry, I'm not sure on this one because I don't care for Firehawk too much but, if I had to guess I would say that it enters through the exit... Requires Fast Lane Plus. Flight of Fear - Enters through the exit and goes right to the station. (Fast Lane Plus) Diamondback - Same set up as Banshee Delirium - Not 100%, but I believe Delirium has a separate entrance for Fast Lane and meets the line where the ride op counts the guests. Drop Tower - Again, not positive, but I think this is similar to Delirium's set up... Invertigo - Like Firehawk, I usually skip this ride, but I know the Fast Lane enters under the cobra roll, not positive on where it converges though. It either goes all the way to the station or converges right before the station. The Racer - I believe this is another enter through the exit ride Vortex - Enters near the exit, however you cross a bridge over the ride and meet the regular line in the station where the line stops and the employee controls guest flow to the gates. Windseeker - Enter through the exit Woodstock Gliders - New this year so I do not know Backlot Stunt Coaster - Similar to Diamondback and Banshee Zephyr, Monster, Scrambler, & Shake, Rattle, & Roll - I believe these are all enter through the exit (Shake, Rattle, & Roll has been completely refurbished for this season so that could be different this year...) Adventure Express - Enters near exit, cuts over and runs parallel to regular line and meets in station, similar to Banshee & co. Congo Falls - Has a separate entrance and meets at or right before entering the station... I think? Not one you'll have issues with waiting for though... Dodgem - For some reason I remember it having a similar set up to Banshee, with a separate line that goes up to the front... however there's a good chance that I'm wrong and it's just an enter through the exit. Boo Blasters on Boo Hill - Separate line at the entrance, converges at the load area. Surf Dog - unsure Race For Your Life Charlie Brown - Separate line at entrance, converges at the load area. Flying Ace Aerial Chase - unsure. Again, sorry for the uncertainty. As a local and season passholder, I don't need Fast Lane so I've yet to use it, however, I tend to pay attention to the Fast Lane stuff (at least somewhat) and that is everything to the best of my memory. Anyone feel free to correct me where I'm inaccurate or fill in the couple I couldn't recall at all. Hope this helps. -

I visited DA last year since it was free with my pass. It was my first visit since 2011 and honestly I don't see a reason to go back through anytime soon. I will say it's fairly well done, and a nice break from the sun and I'm sure the kids enjoy it, but the area could definitely be put to better use. I think the fact that the gift shop is a temporary structure could indicate that it may only have a few more seasons left in the park. I actually saw them making it free to passholders as an early indicator that its days were likely numbered, that and the fact that the movie is already gone. For this year I'm hoping that they get rid of the stupid dinosaur in front of the fountains... 4 seasons of that tacky eyesore is enough. -

I drove by a week or so ago and it was still mostly standing, but demolition has begun. -
That's good to know, thank you!

Hi guys! I know this is a long ways out, but I'm currently in the early stages of planning a trip to Walt Disney World with my girlfriend in January 2016 (January is the month that works best for us currently due to our work/school situation). We've only got about 2 weeks where a trip would work for both of us, the 3rd-9th and the 10th-16th. The 3rd-9th is our preferred week, but I've got a couple of concerns. My main concern is that I just found out that Marathon Weekend is the 6th-10th, how much of an effect does this usually have on crowds? Is it possible to avoid the marathon crowds if we choose certain parks for different days? Or will this only be a slight increase in crowds that I shouldn't really get too worked up about? I just heard that these weekends were popular so that was why I was worried. My other question was whether we would see a little bit of the leftover holiday crowds if we went that early in the month? Thanks in advanced!

I've ridden the one at Kings Island (also my home park), and came away feeling that the experience was just ok. The initial "launch" is definitely they best part, the rest of the ride was actually a little violent. It was worth the experience though. -

Ah! Not sure how I missed that. Good for them! I wish that policy could be rolled out to all the parks. I agree, I'm excited to give them a ride next year! -

Walt Disney World for me. Love them both, but give me the theming, immersiveness, and Disney magic any day. -

I'm speaking as someone who unfortunately hasn't been to WDW in 15 years (don't remember riding Maelstrom when I was there), but am in the beginning phases of planning my next trip there, so I've been looking into everything at the parks recently. But here's a thought I had... I would think the new Frozen ride will bring way more people to the Norway pavilion than Maelstrom did, and that that will result in more people going to and spending their money in the shops and restaurants in the pavilion which are probably more authentic to Norway than Maelstrom was. So to me this seems like a win-win. I'm excited to see what they do with the ride, and hope that it'll open the doors to more rides in the World Showcase. -
I too have to go with Cedar Fair. I really like the direction the company is taking under its new leadership, I really look forward to their plans for the parks over the coming year. That being said, I did recently have a very nice trip to Six Flags Over Texas recently but still give the nod to Cedar Fair.

TPR's 2013 Japan Trip - Mini Updates!

Great updates! One of these days (after I'm finished paying for college) I have to make it on a TPR trip, hopefully a Japan trip. The parks look amazing, especially Tokyo DisneySea, really hope to make on a trip soon. Thanks for the pictures! -

^ They also already have an area of the park themed to old Coney Island. Coney Mall also saw some pretty extensive refurbishment in 2011 when Windseeker was installed. So for the Action Zone area, going to back to a Jungle/Safari/Adventure type theme would be going back to its roots. Whatever is installed, a retheme of the Action Zone would be greatly welcomed in my opinion, hopefully the removal of the water tower (or even repainting Invertigo in 2012) is a first step towards a new theme... -

Oh I apologize, just reread through the previous comments and I see what you're saying, I shouldn't post when I'm in a hurry . But anyways now to sum things up, tickets are cheaper online, Fast Lane is the same price no matter where it is purchased. So you could even go to the park and see how the crowds are before deciding whether to buy Fast Lane or not, but you do run the risk of them selling out. -

^ Actually they are currently listed at $17 cheaper online than at the park ($37.99 online vs. $54.99 at the gate). It says limited time only, but from my experience there is always some sort of discount offered online, so I would say that buying online is your best bet. -
NEW TPR Video Every Day in April!

Six Flags Mexico kind of got the short end of the stick on the Batman roller coasters, getting an SLC instead of a B & M invert, but didn't look too bad. Pregnant lady ride was hilarious! Great videos though, looking forward to more! -
