The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness ecrim95 First screen: You could save yourself tons of time (and lag) if you use DasMatze's wooden support retexture. Looks decent so far. Second screen: The building looks great, but I think that you could get some better feedback if you included the purpose of the building. That said, I think that it would look better with some actual surroundings such as other buildings, some foliage, or you could break that path up a little, and make it flow.

Official RCT3 Help ThreadTwitch replied to mcjaco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness Sheep-O-Matic: I have the same problem too. As far as I know, other people have it and just ignore it.

Official RCT3 Help ThreadTwitch replied to mcjaco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness Sheep-O-Matic: To change the language of the CTR Creator to English, click on "optionen", and bubble in "Englisch". That will change the language to English. Also, try this tutorial. It helped me when I was trying to figure this stuff out. www.rctlounge.com/forums/showthread.php?t=4457

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness I've finally managed to make a peepable building using the stock scenery and path. The two buildings to the right were failed attempts. Tropico Shores as it is right now. I've begun work on a boardwalk area.

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness Not only do I see one kind of tree growing there, but they also appear to be arranged in perfect files. I don't know about you, but I would choose somewhere other than a farm to build a theme park. Use the smaller plants, then mix a few trees in to make the foliage look better.

I think I will pull the download for a while until I can figure this out. This will still be released eventually. I'll just have to work on it on my laptop. (no custom objects). It'll be a different scenario but at least it will work for everyone... Anyways, I will try to have a release of five of the scenarios as soon as I can get them done. Working on my laptop will make this take a little longer than I originally anticipated, but I will get it done.

Alright, I've edited the first post again. This time, it has the save game. EDIT:Strange. When I tried to parkdat the balloon stall out of the scenario completely, it invented everything on the invention list. Then, when I tried to load the saved scenario afterwards, the error trapper came up. Not to worry though, I used a different scenario file than that one.

While I don't deny that it is possible, I think that it may be a little too difficult with marketing campaigns, and land moving forbidden. I am positive that there is someone that could do it, but I want the scenarios to feel fun and not like the game is kicking you. I guess we can think of this scenario a bit more as a test than an indication of things to come...

Yes. It is indeed a difficult task. This is one of the hardest planned scenarios. The next one will be easier. EDIT: As a small hint, I suggest that you don't buy land... EDIT 2: I never really found it that difficult to get 2,000 in the middle of year 2... EDIT 3: I will look into making the scenario a little easier. I will most likely change the deadline and some of the preset conditions.

This is a large project that I started, because I felt that the original RCT2 scenarios were lacking the original fun factor that Roller Coaster Tycoon , Corkscrew Follies, and Loopy Landscapes had. In this project, you can expect to see many RCT2 scenarios done in the style of LL ones. These scenarios will not be made nor will they be posted in any order. So, without further ado, I present the first completed scenario of the project... Glacier Lake Glacier Lake is located in the expert parks section of the RCT2 scenario directory. Objective- To have at least 1,900 guests in your park by the end of October year 2 with a park rating of at least 600. Download not available at the moment... If you manage to complete one of my scenarios, feel free to post the scenario name and company value. I will be keeping a leader board for each scenario.

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness I was thinking about Zippo's Wacky World of Wonders over on NE when I suddenly felt inspired to create a walkway that uses the Side Friction Roller coaster as a path border. I tried it out with NCSO RCT3 amd I think that the turnout was very good. Please let me know what you think.

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness 1st screen: I would encourage you to change the colors on the train. I hate the default train colors. 2nd screen: Experiment more with terrain textures, and the smooth terrain tool.

Official RCT/RCT2 Help ThreadTwitch replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness When I try to select large scenery in the scenario editor, I cannot scroll. Is this the result of having too many objects or something else? EDIT: My bad. It was the small scenery tab. Thanks!

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness Trying some RCT2. This is to be the centerpiece of an RCT2 park that I'm working on.

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness Well, I hit year 50 in-game so I figured that I would show some of the advancements I've made with my park. comments/criticism welcome.

Official RCT/RCT2 Help ThreadTwitch replied to Stoksy's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness I need help with track merging. Whenever I try to raise/lower any track, 8 cars crashes and nothing happens. Also, when I go into the scenario editor, I cannot select individual pieces of scenery. (The scrollbar won't perform its primary function and scroll.)

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness I've been working on the supports. Still have a ton of terraforming to do before I can finish them though.

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness ^^^That was almost three years ago... Dotrobot-I like the overgrown look, but I think it would look better on a larger scale.

The "Preview" ThreadTwitch replied to DBru's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness I'm not planning on releasing it for the track of the week contest. Wonderful atmosphere grrt. I am still looking for feedback on the shooting gallery.

Official RCT3 Help ThreadTwitch replied to mcjaco's topic in Roller Coaster Games, Models, and Other Randomness The McDonalds scenery you saw was probably the McDoughnuts set, which I believe is in one of the NetOn packs. I don't know about the station though. Following up the station question, Is there any way to make a station platform invisible via the CTR Creator or other means?
