  1. You'd think SFOG as well since it's the park that made Six Flags a chain in the first place.
  2. ^ This is more of a pet peeve of mine more than anything else, but can you not put the word "the" in front of the names of rides? It just sounds weird in my head when I read it. I know, completely random, but it was just bugging me.
  3. The only new ride I will be able to ride next year will be SkyScreamer at SFOG, so there's that... Sigh. Only a few more years then I can go explore some new parks.
  4. Not all classics will get that bad. Schwarzkopfs are still wonderful coasters, and Gerstlauer is keeping the breed alive.
  5. I think any coaster made before 1980 are classics.
  6. They probably have a spare in case something happens to the train that is on the track.
  7. The Mayans never thought about Leap Years.
  8. Intamin: What revolutionary advances in roller coaster engineering can we expect within the next few years?
  9. X2 is of Arrow design, but the new cars were made by S&S.
  10. The park did everything they were suppose to. It was the mother's fault that her child is dead. As Robb said, 114 years went by without an accident like this, so why would the park suddenly be faulted for this?
  11. Intamin: Would it be possible one day to install a coaster that travels above 500'?
  12. The park also probably never expected a mother of a young child to carelessly put her child on a railing. There were probably signs there, and the mother straight out ignored them. I feel sorry for the mother, and I'm hoping that all parents, not just the ones involved, learned a valuable lesson.
  13. No. The mother put her child up there and neglicted to make sure that the child would be fine. If she had held on to the child, the boy would not have fallen. It's the woman's fault for making the situation possible in the first place not the park. A park should be able to trust that the guests know what and what not to do.
  14. I'll probably be watching all of Robb's POV videos on YouTube just to get me ready for next season.
  15. B&M: Is there a chance that more of your giga coasters could be built within the next few years?
  16. I never said I wasn't happy with it either. It just means I won't be in pain if I ever decide to go to those parks. All they need to do now is to get rid of Mean Streak.
  17. First Son of Beast, Wildcat, and Disaster Transport and now Vortex and Anaconda, looks like Cedar Fair is slowly losing all their rough or old coasters and gaining new, revolutionary coasters.
  18. We're all coaster enthusiasts, but there are different levels of it. The people who drive an hour or more for a credit are the more extreme ones.
  19. We're coaster enthusiasts, and most coaster enthusiasts are credit whores. Most of us will do whatever it takes to get a credit even if it means bribing a park to do so. (I'm looking at all those who went on the China trip )
  20. Second question for RMC: You've worked with GCI and Intamin before, did you take a few of their building techniques to make your own building style?
  21. RMC: Is there a specific reason why you decided to push the wooden coaster envelope by adding inversions to the mix?
  22. It doesn't matter if she gets money or not because at the end of the day her child is still dead because of her stupid decision. This is truly a tragedy that the park had no control over, and I hope the law system realizes that.
  23. To GCI: Would you possibly add new elements that haven't been done before to future wooden coasters?
  24. Why does it need tunnels? I'm pretty sure no one could care what Prudential wants.
