As a first time visitor, I was surprised at how small it was. Anyway, I was relaxing on one of the lounge chairs in soak city when I saw the Wild Thing get stuck due to a power outage. I also watched the very talented Life Guard Ladies of Soak City in their rendition of silent dance in the form of the Cupid Shuffle followed by the Macarena. Even though the park closed early, I managed to do everything I wanted, so all in all, a very good day for me. Maybe not so much for the poor people who were stuck on the ferris wheel or had to climb nearly 200 ft. down the stairs of Wild Thing.

Ok, so I'm headed out to Minnesota for a friend's wedding. During my stay I plan on visiting MOA and Valleyfair on Monday and Tuesday the 13th and the 14th. Me and my boyfriend was wondering if anyone wanted to play guide/friend type person with us? If you decide to go, I'll give you a shot glass from Chicago.

I got my package yesterday! Thank you so much! I love it! Thank you a billion times over. Sorry the plastic bag is covering the Reese's tree shaped candy. I have never heard of these stores before (Wegmans?) so I had to include it in the pic. It's the totally awesome Dinocroc Vs. Supergator movie!!! So beautiful to behold! The back of the package cautions me about GIANT REPTILES. Here is me and my new friend, Bop N' Beep. It's so cute! Perhaps someday Bop N' Beep will be able to meet........ This guy!

USJ is awesome, and your pics make it even more awesome-er! It is however, the only Universal park that I have had the privilege to go to, so I can not say it is the best one. You're taking me back to some great memories, like this: I got my boyfriend to seek professional help that day! It resulted in a total breakdown!

Hey! The trip looks like a lot of fun! I love all the pics and vids! I eagerly look forward to each update. I dunno if all your meals are pre-planned or not, but if you can, try the seasonal food. I think noodle lovers would like hiyashishuuka (cold ramen salad) and soumen (cold noodles) They are a summer fave. Soumen is alot of fun to eat. It goes down these water slide/chutes and you have to catch them. If you miss it, you STARVE!!! Also, I dunno If you've seen this video before, it's pretty popular, but if you haven't, it may help! I just got my tix online for Tomorrow! Yay! Now I just hope that I don't get sick from running around in the cold and the rain all day.

I plan on being there on opening day, but according to the weather it may rain. Do you think it's worth an hours drive there and back if nothing will be running? I know someone already asked, but is anybody else planning on doing opening day?

Hello! My name is Sayaka, & I have booked a room at Hotel Breakers for 3 nights @ this event (June 2-5) for me and my boyfriend. The room supposedly has 2 double beds in it - It was the cheapest one I could find - & We only need 1 bed for ourselves. Would anybody be interested in rooming with a couple of strangers? (I abso-bloody-lutely promise we are not axe wielding murderers!) The room for us cost $548.14 (including taxes and 2, 2 day adult tix ), and if you pay us $204.61 your more than welcome to stay with us. Or, if your brave and your single, it's only $102.30 per person. Of course you will have to purchase your own admission tix. This price is for all 3 nights of just hotel. I am not trying any funny business except to save some monies and make some friends. I swear I've checked and rechecked the math, but If you think it's wrong or want to negotiate somehow, I am open to any suggestions. I am also very interested in carpooling (gas prices are going way to high!) We will be coming from the Chicagoland area, so we have quite a few hours of driving to do. Out car has a something like a 10 gallon tank, and last time I went it took a little less than 1 tank of gas to get there. So, hotel and/or transportation and friendship for a small fee, anyone?

The vikings certainly know how to cram as many coasters as possible into a tiny space. I plan on visiting in July an and can't wait. Does anybody have tips on stuff like cheap/good food in the area, or what is a "must do"?
