I wonder if Lasso will a part of the 1950's NY beachfront boardwalk area? It is near where Blast Off is going ,Skycoaster, and the Giant Wheel

^ Maybe they're going to get rid of Lasso as well as Raging Seas for the jumping waterfalls and Blast Off respectively

They should announce their plans for next season around this time every year for now on!

Well looking from the teaser photo of Blast Off it looks like an S&S drop tower rather than an Intamin one. So much for Darien Lake getting Kennywood's Pitt Fall. They're getting probably getting an S&S Turbo Drop or Space Shot tower.

I wonder if Darien Lake still has the train for the Intamin stand up coaster from Astroworld? If they do have the track and trains they would sell the track and most of the coaster train and keep one coaster car for a Fright Fest prop.

^ Hmm like ten million dollars plus the Raging Seas ride!

^ They will never set up the Batman coaster from Six Flags Astroworld for three reasons: A. Six Flags sold Darien Lake years ago B. The coaster is old and rusted C. When the coaster was moved from Texas to New York it wasn't dismantled properly And now you know why Darien Lake didn't bother to set the coaster up ever since they got it!

I very highly agree. The go-carts and batting cage are a waste of space. Other than Tin Lizzys and Twister that particular stretch of pavement is dead. I agree too, the area between Tin Lizzy's and Twister is pretty much a "dead end" they really need something to replace the go karts like a small coaster or a ride.

^ Are you kidding?! The Predator is rough as Hell I rather see Darien Lake replace that rough Dinn-Summers beast for a new GCI woodie!

^ Or a fresh coat of red and blue paint!

Speaking of Ride of Steel, they should give it a new paint job and name/theme right now it just a shell of the former Superman theming from when Six Flags owned Darien Lake!

^^Motocoaster didn't really fill in the gap between Brain Teaser/Hoot N Holler and Predator, it more filled in the gap between Predator and Ride of Steel with the height requirement being 48". What Darien Lake needs is a family coaster for the 42/46" and taller group as a true stepping stone between Brain Teaser/Hoot N Holler and Predator!

^At least Darien Lake has more thrill rides than Martin's Fantasy Island, but Darien Lake needs some things to be done in 2013, they're listed below . Add a Drop Tower (Kennywood's Pitt Fall might be coming ) . Add new lights to the Giant Wheel (they have been putting it off for years!) . Add a family coaster in Galaxy Theater

The last ride that Darien Lake got that was from another park was the Big Kahuna water slide from Six Flags Astroworld

^ I say if Darien lake does get Pitt Fall they move Lasso to Raging Seas' spot and put Pitt Fall in where Lasso was.

It could be possible that Kennywood's Pitt Fall's new might be Darien Lake,but wouldn't they have to move or remove Lasso and Skycoaster?

^ it would probably be mostly scrapped, but they might keep some of the boats for Carnevil during Fright Fest. As for Ranger it will be back in 2013, the fate of UFO for the 2013 season is still unknown for now.
