^That map was from 1983 a few years earlier. Thrillbilly was located where The Predator's que is now. Here's the map from 1988 (25 years ago)

At the time (25 years ago) in the area where fire was the only ride that was probably in the area was Thrillbilly since Ride of Steel wasn't built until 1999 and there used to a train that went around Elk Lake that was remove when they built Ride of Steel.

Does anyone know when Darien Lake got rid of the Huss Troika ride, Thrillbilly? I'm guessing sometime earlier in 1990 before they built Predator. I might be wrong and could have been destroyed in that fire from 25 years ago either that or it had damage that made it SBNO until construction of The Predator began.

^O.K. maybe I was making kind of a joke in my last post in this thread, but that whole area really needs a face lift and move the Fright Fest stuff to storage (they could move some it to the boat in Beaver Bros. Bay) and move UFO there when it comes back from the ride shop!

They could probably make due without the gift shop in the exit and just have a shack by Ride of Steel's exit where people could buy an on-ride photo (ala Viper)!

^The ironic factor of it was that Six Flags New England rethemed their Ride of Steel as "Bizarro" and also Six Flags used to own Darien Lake. If Six Flags still owned Darien Lake they would rethemed Ride of Steel as "Bizarro".

^^They can't use the "Bizarro" name because Six Flags owns the rights to use DC Comics. I was thinking more of "The Enforcer" with a red track and black supports.

If you would choose a different name for a coaster, what shall the name become? The rules and regulations are quite simple for this forum game. You must choose coaster. You must choose a different name for the coaster you have chosen. I will list an example below. Current Name- Ride of Steel (Darien Lake) Different Name- The Enfocer

What I meant by an "overhaul" for Ride of Steel is for Darien Lake to repaint it, give it a new name, and add flame and fog effects to it! While they're at they could remodel the station and make a new exit for it!

I blame the Ride of Steel's incredibly long que that gets instantly filled for Viper's demise. There used to be vending machines in that little shack in Viper's always almost empty que line, I think when Six Flags sold Darien Lake the vending machines were removed from Viper. I really think that Darien Lake should shorten Viper's que line if it hasn't been filled in a decade since Ride of Steel opened!

^The Ride of Steel need's an overhaul, perhaps a new name and paint job (anything but the "Superman" red and blue) and maybe the mist back on (did Ride of Steel had mist before?) and maybe another ride/attraction in the vicinity of Ride of Steel.
