Ad wraps on coaster cars/trains for göt2b, Takis, Twix, etc. and naming rides to something that's overused or something that's just a bad downgrade from its former name!
Maybe Six Flags should retheme the remaining former Tony Hawk's Big Spin/Pandemonium coaster in the USA as "Takis Big Spin Pandemonium"!
Consider what I've said is sarcasm, but Six Flags does a heap load of advertising tie ins via banners and ad wraps for God knows what sponsorship that Six Flags could get their hands on and not for ride theming purposes!
And you can add Kraft/Polly-O Twists cheese, Twix, and Axe body spray to the list of advertising at Six Flags parks!
***
You see a skateoard themed spinning coaster that's named "Pandemonium" when it should still be named "Big Spin" sans Tony Hawk!
OP: I don't really care if a Six Flags park has themed areas or not, but I really wish that Six Flags didn't have a "mandatory" rule that at least one ride in a Six Flags branded park has to be themed to a DC Comics superhero or villain or the Looney Tunes!
Of course Six Flags could retheme the rest of the Tony Hawk's Big Spin/Pandemonium coasters to something like "The Joker", "The Riddler", or "Wonder Woman's Lasso twist" or they can retheme the rest of the Tony Hawk's Big Spin/Pandemonium coasters to something relating to Looney Tunes like "Taz Twister", or "Bugs Bunny's Big Spin"!
Here's what I think would make a park grow!
. Rides that cater from families with kids to thrill seekers
. Good marketing
. Efficient ride operations with less than a 30 minute wait time
. A water park that's included with "dry" park admission
. little or no use of licensed properties (IE DC Comics, Looney Tunes, etc.) with the exception of Disney and Universal parks
I agree on that remark about Opryland, I wish that it never had closed and demolished for a mall! But I wish that Darien Lake had kept Nightmare at Phantom Cave until the present day and the same thing goes to Floodgate Falls too!
I miss Chaos at Opryland, it was like the only ride that I was interested in when it went there for my only visit there in 1997 before it closed. I wish that Opyland's Chaos was sent to a better home than the scrapyard!
