Only time I've been there was as a kid around 13-14 years ago. The poverty was atrocious. Not going back, especially now.

Nice so far. I personally don't like CS myself; I feel dirty using it and would rather stick with what I have. Anyway, can't wait to see more! -
What is your local park?

Small revision - This has been my home park since 1995. Before that, I lived in Ashland, KY. Camden Park (near Huntington, WV) was closest then. They actually have a decent woodie there. It's definitely not the fastest or tallest thing there is, but you get some decent airtime on it! -

Mine was very easy, as I haven't been able to afford to go anywhere in years, and I've only been on a grand total of 3 woodies... sigh. My Favorite Steel Anypark Anywhere **,y,n,1 Giant Dipper Belmont Park CA,y,n,2 Big Dipper Camden Park WV,y,n,3 Lil' Dipper Camden Park WV,y,n,4 Favorite steel coaster is Tennessee Tornado. That'll be there for a long time unless a miracle happens soon. -

I'm in Glendale, AZ... Castles N' Coasters is literally only a few minutes away from me. But it's not really that great of a place (small and expensive) and is in a bad part of the city. The mini golf there is better than the two coasters. -
I was rather young... there's a very old park near Huntington, WV called Camden Park that I went to a lot as a kid. I rode their classic Big Dipper more times than I can count; first time I rode it was around... age 6, maybe? I want to go back there someday. 1993, went to Kings Island. I wanted to ride The Beast but I didn't. Either I was scared or too short, I can't remember very well. Then in 1995 I went to Worlds of Fun during a break when my family moved out west. I remember riding the old Zambezi Zinger (which is apparently in South America now) and I might have rode Timber Wolf too, but I can't remember it well. 1999, went to DollyWood. That was the 2nd time I had been there, but I only mention it now because Tennessee Tornado had just opened. That was my very first inverted coaster. I was afraid of falling out of those, but I had to face my fear one day, I guess. I ended up riding that, maybe, 5 consecutive times. Fast-forward to the present... I haven't rode many other coasters since then (only Belmont Park's Giant Dipper and Castles N' Coasters' Desert Storm come to mind), but I still love 'em.

Hi, I'm Beau and I like the University of Michigan (which is where my name comes from). I've known about this site for a while now but never knew it had a forum until yesterday. I don't get to go to theme parks a whole lot (I HATE BEING POOR!) but I love roller coasters quite a lot.
