Valentine's day has been a day for doing weird things for me, ever since my traumatizing Valentine's experience sophomore year of college. Ok, it wasn't that bad, I just got broken up with the next day. Anyways, two years ago, my friends and I went to a hockey game and ate jelly beans. Last year, we had an anti-Valentine's party at our house, which involved hearts made out of black construction paper, hearts with big Xs on them, Jello jigglers (those were a big hit with the boys, for some reason!), and sugar cookies in the shape of gingerbread men with their heads and various appendages cut off. Now, I have different friends, but the tradition continues. We went to a gay bar in downtown Buffalo and watched a drag show! This was the best goth club in Buffalo... now it's closed I love Buffalo. That's the building the ball drops off for New Years. Christine and I... not much to say about this pic except haha she had to pay 3 bucks to get in! After I did my "bottle trick" which was not documented, Lorna and I decided to... snort our beer? wtf? It was super classy. It was all about the real me, not about just getting physical. Wow, holy crap, I drank a beer. I thought this one was super hot! Yes, it's a chick. This is a real female. She was a drag king, but there's no hiding those knockers. This was the skinniest person I've ever seen in my life! Anyway, then came the queens and kings. This one I could live without. LOL I like this pic. "Artsy" shot of Lorna. We decided to play some pool, but were missing a ball. Apparently this is a band... I had the best amaretto sour known to man... I seriously SUCKED that thing down! When we got to Buffalo, Spongebob greeted us upon entering the bar. Our night of debauchery began at our mutual place of employment...

The whole park is pretty much a giant area of nothing, so anywhere would be fine. Seriously, why does the park love Huss so much???

Aww, I'm sad to hear that. It was a really great ride last time I rode it. However, that WAS quite a long time ago, back when vertical loops DIDN'T cause me to see spots. lol.

Damn ACERs better not break the Silver Comet! It's nice to see an event take place in my area. Not that I'll be attending, but this area is sort of neglected. I mean, when you think "I want to go ride some coasters!" you don't automatically think WNY/SO.

^ Wow, I think I'm personally insulted by your post! I LOVE Dragon Mountain! Just because its theming never got finished doesn't mean it's not a good ride! Look at all the rides out there that have no theming whatsoever! So anyway... Ha Ha, you didn't get to ride Silver Comet! Ha!

I think that might actually happen someday. They could put it up on the mountain with Sky Screamer! Although it's not made by Huss so maybe not! I can see Sky Screamer from the south Grand Island bridge! I can also see MFI's ferris wheel, and on a clear day I can see the two vertical loops of Construction Mountain. ::ahem:: I mean Dragon Mountain! And that aerial shot... ooh baby! You can almost see my house in that shot!! Oh... I do think it takes a long time to get to the park from the falls, but that's cause I'm a "tourist" who gets lost easily. :::END POST OF ADD RAMBLING :::

According to the Huss website, Marineland will be adding a Walrus-themed Topple Tower for the 2006 season. The ride will feature new restraints that will allow smaller children to ride. I've only been on two SLCs: Top Gun at PCW and Mind Eraser at SFDL. I really enjoy them both; however, they do tend to have their rough spots. Some years they are rough, some years they are not. I don't really understand why; perhaps my pain tolerance is just slowly increasing. I also really enjoy Vekoma boomerangs; I think the constant disorienting twisting motion is great.
