Hidden treasures/left overs

Before them the Tokado Express a powered coaster used to be there and their was also dodgems. Some other ones I remembered If you go to Southport Pleasureland you will find that Scenery and rides from beaver creek have been sold to them. Kind of Ironic. If you look closely in the Ghost Train you can see Trauma Towers theming that's been moved. Also it's the same with Impossible, things from the Ark are now in their. You can still see the old water chute station on the Monorail. -

Quite A lot The lake which infusion is in still has some Log Flume Footers in it. Also that area is full of loads of beaver creek stuff. There is an underground room under Beaver Creek which the park explored after being boarded up for years, heres some pictures of it! The Entrace Underground, There was also a dodgem track their Also this one is quite interesting, Geoffrey Thompson Looked up to Walt Disney and he got inspired, rumor has it that he had his own office underground in the park. Their is underground tunnels in the park linking to all the dark rides and Wild Mouse's workshop area and to the Casino Also a weird one, Valhalla's frontage is held up by old PMBO Track. These are of the top of my head -

Is their not an Abandoned hotel and Island at WDW Florida? Seems unlike Disney however I think it's true. Also in Blackpool on the Nash you can see parts from old trains, Valhalla Boats and bit's from old rides and scenery. -

It's a shame people actually do this, I mean why bother do this, it's immature, they should grow up and leave you alone. I hope these people are banned from here as they seem like the kind who spoil the fun. I don't see why they would want to bother you like this, do they not have better things to do? The thing is I wouldn't like TPR As much without the jokes and wittyness of it all. -
Just Like to say the park are all for classic rides and the park made them Standing but not operating for a reason so they could survive and pay of the Millions of Pounds of debt Geoffrey left behind. The bankers wanted the money and with higher interest rates to survive with out going into bankruptcy they had to do something and to cut these rides was an option and not so many people would notice. People would notice if something like the Big One was sbno however something like Noah's Ark or Rollercoaster, not so much. I can assure you the park care about classic rides, Thats why they spent over £500,000 refurbishing The Big Dipper. Amanda loves the classic rides however in a business decisions have to be made to pay off debt and make the company profitable. Just saying they do care about classic rides in the park however they had to make vital decisions to help pay back debt and unfortunately some classic rides suffered as well as Southport.

^ I am very sorry about my bad grammar, I am going to try and improve it. Unfortunately I can't upload to the trp server as my files are to big and I would have to resize them. ________________________ Here is a quick update from the park today, Due to the amount of guests in park the paths have been made wider and more fences have been added. The Slc's reliably it very bad, it is now down to one train due to the second train having to be used for spare parts. The sooner Pirate cove is open, the sooner the Slc is refurbished. Some fences have been added in preparing for Pirate Cove The area is near completion however is still waiting on rides to arrive A touch up on theming has happened for Tumbler The Tea Cups/Spinning Barrels were made in house More Fences have been added around the area I wonder if this will look any different with the new Slc track The Power Towers are still racing An Overview of some of the park The kid's coaster will be leaving soon. I heard the park want rid of this too. Comments and Suggestions please I have tried with the Grammar, Hope it's ok.... -

I have been away for a bit and have not been able to update this. I have done quite a lot since then with the park. ___________________________ Anyway during the parks regeneration the company is pumping lots of cash into this project and have made the park into 3 themed areas, Country Fair-which is the area around the Slc this is expanding more. There is a new ride of s&s space shots , Western world-Feutures Boomerang, Mine Train, Log Flume and New Intamin Family Lauch coaster, Pirates Cove-Still under contruction, Big dipper is unthemed but remains at the back of the park. Let's start off looking at the new country fair area The entrace, the building houses dodgems The two S&S combo towers The slc(Mind Eraser) Power Tower, Note the space behind it for future developments Twisters got a new paint job The chair-o-planes occupy Brakedance's old spot The Western Area, Western World One of two new attractions Mine train, Boomerang and Top Spin Log Flume The new Intamin Family launch coaster, Part of the 3 part ride deal The block brakes are on top of log flumes roof You can see from this photo, nothing much has happened to Pirate cove The entrace to the new area _____________ Some More Info The Big dipper remains sbno just now due to Pirate cove area blocked off, The reason constructions slow/stopped is due to waiting on a second hand ride form another park arriving. I have heard that The Park have signed a 4 Part deal with Vekoma which includes *Refurbishment of Mind earser, Some track is worn beond repair and it will see a new track style from them and the new four people trains. This was one of the first slcs and the previous owners rarely maintained it. I have heard the park may even replace the full track which may be easyer, the park are just able to operate the ride *A new rollerskater to replace the ageing Big Apple *Complete refurbishment of Boomerang,Opening in 1982 the protoype model it's not aged well. The ride is rusting and the 2 trains the park have are knackered. The ride got a new station but needs much more work. It's a landmark to the locals, like the Sky tower, they can't remove it. *New Coaster in Pirate cove area They have also signed a 3 part deal with Intamin, 2 of these have been completed *Half Pipe *Buffalo Chase, Lauched coaster *Unknown, rumors suggest near Power Tower and a water ride Please comment, I hope to update more often -
Thought I would start a topic for the discussion of Pleasure Beach Blackpool as there is quite a lot happening at the moment. To start the topic off Here is a picture of the New Pmbo entrace as part of the rebrand. Picture from Here The New entrance Also Amanda Thompson has announced that Noahs Ark will be turned into a heritage museum instead of being sbno, which is good and bad.... Use This Topic to discuss Pleasure Beach.

They haven't run 3 trains since 2000 I think, due to an accident and there is no longer demand for it, It's the same with Avalache and the Nash not running 3 trains anymore. Adam, They painted some of the Big One, the bits that needed it the most I think. I found one of My pictures of it being painted... A Photo of the Big one being painted

Nice Updates, Is V12 Better than Valhalla with special effects? Can't wait to see more. -
They are two new trains as the old ones were not in the best state. They are only getting two which rules out any chances of 3 train operation now. They are/have been built in house due to the last time they bought trains from another company. Also the pay booths from the ride have been removed and the ride has been repainted. Hope that clears a few things up!!

Uk parks trip
Popcorn54 replied to manuele.leonelli's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
Blackpool has some great rides, One of a few remaining shuttle loops, Steeplechase, Nickolodeon Land may be open, Grand National an amazing ride, Ice Blast, Valhalla, The Big One and Bling are some great rides along with some other flat rides and coasters and the Slc. The Dark rides are pretty good as well. It's a park I know a lot about as I have grown up with it. The atmosphere of the place is pretty good. -
Stupid ghosts ruining my waterslide
Popcorn54 replied to djjarvicious's topic in Theme Parks, Roller Coasters, & Donkeys!
It's Just a publicity stunt. It's already been built, It's being said the original spot was a monks walk and had to be changed however no Planning permission was ever submitted. It's just trying to get people interested in a second hand Water Ride that isn't that good.
