  1. Nope. Bingo! Now what would you like? XD *three doors open revealing a custom coaster, a drawing, and a cookie*
  2. Another look, this time on the other side of the entrance plaza.: Those who guess the inspiration for this area will win... something idk, lol...
  3. After much wait, MARFleparks begins construction on its satellite Orlando resort. And with that, has released a teaser of the entrance:
  4. Liking the look of London, feels very much like it imo! And I just love New Orleans (maybe it's the architecture >.>). Quite innovative with the Mardi Gras Parade, and I love the Gator Flume as well as Hurricane, very creative! Just one question: with the stadium seating, will I need to get/purchase passes to see the nighttime show?
  5. The beach looks fun! And the ice skating rank is quite unique imo. And I agree the others on the checker pavement, I suggest adding some planters and 'green' it up. At the moment it feels very industrial... unless that's the intention you're going for. Nevertheless, keep it up! ^^
  6. A piece of concept art for an area of a future park. How I'm going to achieve doing so in RCT2, we shall see... (and yes, I just realized that mobile phones - even if smart- aren't the best photo-capturing devices): Writing says: "SAN FERIA Themed Entertainment Complex (aka 'theme park' >.>) Area - Pauprintine Bay - Concept Entrance .... NorCal Foothills (not part of park) .... Monte Lobo"
  7. A little brit of America:
  8. ^Thanks, I plan to do more art for the parks, really makes doing this a lot more fun! =^.^= Not an update, just figure I'd post something I've long neglected about the resort - Echenima Partner Hotels. These are hotels 'owned' by 'outside companies' (in actuality, other forum members). The story behind this was that MARF lacked enough rooms for potential guests that would come with the opening of the studios, but said park drained funds. Now that I think about it, I think it was just an excuse to let people tell me to build stuff. There were 6 plots, (as shown here) located next to the core complex. Only two out of the six plots were developed into hotels, the rest remain blank. And here they are in order of opening: The CDI Palms (pardon the random black mark): This 280-room hotel features similar amenities found in the MARF-owned Manhattan Suites, but at a much lower price. Room types include: * Normal - Contains one 2-bed BR, and a full bathroom. Basic cost*: $180 a night. * Deluxe - Contains one 2-bed BR, and full bathroom. Also includes a kitchenette and living room. Basic Cost: $250 a night. * Top Suite - Contains one 3-bed BR, a master bedroom, and a full bathroom with spa bath (and dedicated balcony). Also includes a full kitchen and living room. Basic cost: $310 Overview. This Tropical-themed hotel, owned by Creative Designs Inc (ironically, a MARF competitor), is perfect for any large family who wants to be in the center of it all at an affordable price. Enjoy a nice dip in the pool, or grab a bite at Mar ParaĆso - Casual by day, high-class by night. Guests get a discounted entry to the park of their choice for that day, and can access the parks by either taking a complimentary shuttle that runs every 30 minutes, or by walking to The Core conveniently next door and taking the monorail. Across from it is the REBA City resort. This high-rise hotel operated by an asian leisure company offers 'grand' views (much of Echenima Resort property is still farmland - we only plant trees where it is visible...from the ground...which is why you seldom see MARF high-rises as well as rides above treeline) with an eastern feel. Two round-trip shuttle lines take you to the parks. If that's not up to par, then you can walk on over to the CORE and take the Monorail. The Hotel Residents can obtain a discounted 3-day Park Hopper, which must be shown to the REBA shuttle bus driver for a complimentary shuttle to the park.Otherwise, the shuttle is adult $3.00/ childen & elderly $1.70. *You must have a reservation at the hotel to be able to purchase a 3-day park hopper. Hotel packages: Tour package Four day Family room "Three Day Pass" for every one Buffet meal / Chinese restaurant free $100 meal. Business package three day Single room One area ticket for every one you choice. Chinese restaurant free $100 meal. Room price: The Single: 2 Bed BR with TV & a bathroom. Basic cost*: $170 Per Night. The Double: Double Bed BR with TV + PPV & a bathroom. Basic cost: $260 Per Night. The Family: 2 Double Bed BR with TV + PPV & a bathroom, also have a kitchen and living room. Basic cost: $300 Per Night. The Suite: 2 Double Bed BR with TV + PPV & a bathroom with spa bath, also have a kitchen and living room. Basic cost: $380 Per Night. And that should do it. I'm kinda unsure about bringing back up this idea and opening the remaining spots to TPR, but it does add another extra to the resort. Next update? Next week. Hasta Luego!
  9. Just a concept layout for an the American-themed area in my UK park (for the record, 'retail' isn't necessarily a row of shops): And yes, I have figured out what architecture and look I'll use.
  10. ^ I'm thinking of something along the lines of classic and timeless... so yeah, old non-redundantly-modern.
  11. ^ ^^ Thanks! Nothing major, changed the entrance to something more appealing: Also, a bit of a teaser: Finally, I have a question for you all: what comes to mind for American architecture, or rather specifically, an American-themed area? I already know the attractions I'm going to build but I am stuck on what the area should look like. Looking forward to your input, and until then, hasta luego!
  12. Wow... a month of putting this aside and we have an update! Very light, but it's still something after being across the pond for a while. First off, we have a bit of a promo if you happen to be taking a vacation to the resort, we now have an added convenience for you! Now, then, how about a look at the lovely tram station in the Tinseltown section of the Studios: In the original Echenima Park, Storm Searchers came out of it's rehab nothing major done, though mist has been added to enhance the illusion of getting wet (and, for some odd reason, the new vehicles we ordered disappeared along the way in Fresno): Come to think of it, this ride could do with some cosmetic changes. Bond is still popular with the guests, as obviously shown by the extended line: And Futura has gotten a new ride inside a formerly empty glass building: And that should do it for now... Also, if you happen to be an Echenima MARFlepass holder, or a member of amusement press, you may have received this poster revealing a bit about what MARFleparks has in store. But what is it for... third park, or Orlando? That shall be revealed later. Until next time, Hasta Luego!
  13. But I like the tracks. >.>
  14. Hooray for Hollywood! ... Trams....
  15. ^thanks! Moving from the future, we have the Canid Village - an abridged variation on an area in K9-Falliday Studios (K9 Animation film) with more focus on the films themselves and less (none) on the creation of such, as well as higher variation on the architecture. Let's take a look at the rides, shall we? *goes to the 'Echenima Resort' thread, finds the post introducing the studios, selects and copies some text, then paraphrases* In the Bottom left we have John's Roaring Adventure which stars a Lion. across from it is Ziggy's day, probably the only attraction that's based on a story that actually exists - one that I helped write for a Spanish project. Both of these are traditional 'fantasyland style' dark rides. In the far left is Twist in a Taile - probably the most themed scrambler you'll see in your life. Beyond that is The Massle Trot. An omnimover attraction (and thus is far lower in technology to its Californian counterpart) that is both random and fun... and high capacity! From left to right: restrooms, Bendigo Grill (Australian Cuisine), a generic gift shop, and Journey Across Thin Ice - a semi-traditional dark ride built as part of a deal on MARF's K9 Animation side to adapt two comics into films, and also integrate them in some way to the parks: Finally, here's an overview of what we have so far: That should do it for now. Up next, America!
  16. Yet another teaser, spot the hidden Pawprint in this platform:
  17. Not bad, I'm liking this park. Keep it up!
  18. TPR has an art thread? Nice! I have a couple of things to show then! ^^ First off, some rather old concept art, I'm pretty sure you can recognize what park this is if you've been following my parks: Now, who can't resist a ride on one of these? I know I can't: The town of Nosno (pronounced 'no snow'), which seldom had a cold season, had a bit of a shock last night. Boy were they unprepared for a blizzard: Sign says: "Nosno Population: 50 Elevation: 5,000 The only snow-free town in the area!" Just something quick I did when I was supposed to be working on something else in class: Another small sketch I did in class, colorized: Yes, Mark got frustrated with a computer and decided to take matters into his own hands. Who will win in this battle between technology and nature? And finally, some 'modern art' so to speak. Interpret it in any way you want:
  19. So, you want us to resubmit the parks? Or the coasters? Yes, I am a confused folf.
  20. Liverpool Echenima Park, Childer Thornton, United Kingdom.
  21. Just playing around with a few things, may turn into something bigger :
  22. ^thanks! ^^ Okay, up next on our constructional tour is Futura! If you ever visited the original park in California, then you can pretty much guess where the certain top attraction is just by looking at the picture below : Thanks again to Space and a wider scenery selection, MARFinvisionists went on with two things - a more open layout, and the original plan for Echenima US' Futura: a combination of retro-futurism and looks inspired by the Getty Center. As you can see, there is a prominence of glass. The reason for this is simple. They provide shade from the rain as well as looking, well, futuristic! ^^ Same goes for the water elements. Not only does it look nice, but also provides white noise and a sense of serenity. Enough of the chitter-chatter, let's move on to the attractions! Of course, we have brought along some familiar attractions (with a few differences), but there are also a few new ones. First off, let's show the area's entrance, where two attractions lie literally just behind the sign: To the left is (in tan) Watchtale - an attraction using a rather unique format - guests sit in a 'Theater in the round' arrangement surrounding a center stage while being surrounded by a giant dome screen. The result is a very immersive (and, for some, nauseating) experience. Now what is the plot? Simple. It's a light-hearted show that satirizes a typical time-travel adventure, flaws and all. To the right (in blue) is Futura Hall - basically a 4D theater akin to Futura Dome. Reason why it's not called such? Simple, there is no dome! Next up is Nova Voyager - typical indoor coaster. Less cramped entrance, though no launch. You'll see why in a later post: Aerobus - A motion simulator attraction based on Gray Line Tourist Busses, only hovering. Each 'tour route' is randomly selected from 35 different selections, so no two rides are the same. Of course, we're gonna rework the entrance. Futura Center - slightly smaller than its American counterpart, but contains a mini-centrifuge. Also, Restrooms to the left and an omnimover attraction unique to this park just barely hidden from view towards the bottom-left. We all love wave swingers, MARFleparks decided to kick it up a notch - the AirView: the swinger of the future! And that should do it for this area. Now, should we continue clockwise to a new area or go across Davisville to the Pacific Northwest?
  23. Sinoda Kimeloff = Insert clever donker comment here = Join date: August, 2010 After much arguing and persuasion with San Francisco's City Council, I have been granted approval to start construction (under certain -bleep- conditions). Here are some previews of what we have in store:
